Wendy's — Restaurant in Virginia

Food has went down hill at this location, restaurant is extremely dirty on 7/28/2019 would give zero stars if I could. Last time I order here. Have complained in the past but no use , staff has went down hill as well an it shows by service an condition of restaurant. Had to throw fries in trash cause I didn’t have time to stand in line to get it corrected. Just bits and pieces of burnt fries and hamburger was slapped together . All around a bad meal here today.

Again on April 30th around 11:30 pm 2023 visited this location again , Just as dirty and poor service and food quality. Wife’s hamburger was made wrong and only had mayo on it and she took it back to counter. The guy working said well it would take over 5 minutes to make another one instead of just correcting the problem. It’s like it was a bother to him to correct the issue. When she she received the burger back is was soaked like it was wet. Now my wife is sick from this food Just disgusting food here still , and customer service has even gotten worse. I don’t believe they have cleaning skills or any customer service skills at this location an doesn’t seem like it’s ever going to happen. This is now a reflection of operational management. When we walked up to the counter we were not greeted. We waited for the two men working the registers to finish their conversation first. They were talking very loudly about personal business (one was talking about getting in trouble about his dogs being in cages??) and then the lady I assumed was the manager was almost yelling and listing off the things everyone was doing wrong. One was that they had not thrown out the cheese from yesterday and were instead reusing it. While we sat and ate after being in the car for several hours, we listened to them bicker and yell about who had done what and who should be working what position. Two of the male employees looked entirely unclean and were coughing directly into the air. When one of them went to wipe down tables he used one disinfectant wipe for all of the dozen or so tables. We asked for no ice in our drink and immediately were given drinks with ice in them. We were afraid to point this out because of how loud and aggressive they all sounded. I would give negative 5 stars if I could👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿🍅🍅🍅 Ordered online for pickup, went to pick it up, and was rudely told through a barely cracked drive-thru window "We're closed'. Then he turned his back and ignored my husband who was tying to say we had alredy ordered on the app and were picking it up. As a QSR Managing Partner I understand being short staffed or issues causing an early close, but that long haired guy at the DT window on 8/3/25 @ 9:22pm was an absolute ackjay assay and has no discernible customer service skills. My Autistic son ONLY loves Wendy's salads and he was denied HIS dinner with no apology or explanation ! That is what makes me furious. The momma bear in me wanted to jump through the window and dunk his head in the fryer, but instead I'll ask that this team be coached on proper ways to communicate early closing to a guest.
