To start with and preface this post....our original plan was to dine at Texas Roadhouse next door. We get there and the parking lot was full and since my husband had never got to experience Zaxbys, we decided to stop there since it was on our way back out to the main road. We go to pull in and Im thinking great, hardly no one there....it won't take long to get our food....WRONG!! We go in and there may have been 3 couples in the entire place....while placing our order, the cashier "accidentally" deleted my husband's 5 piece meal and had to ask him again what he wanted....no biggie, right?? WRONG AGAIN! We paid and she asked for a name for our order, upon which I give her my first name. We got our drinks and was told to have a seat as they would call for us when our order was ready...we sat there and waited and waited and waited....I listened to them call everyone's name but ours. I then looked at our receipt to see what time we ordered and it was 229 pm....this past Sunday on 3/2. It was now 259 pm. So we waited a full 30 minutes and my husband took the receipt and went to the counter as we were prepared to demand a refund and leave if our food was not ready. When he asked where our food was, the manager looked at him like he was stupid and a burden to even be approached. No apologies, no remorse and the only comment that was made was that another customer must have taken our food cuz they set it there on the counter for us....are you frickin kidding me right now? We are supposed to telepathically know our food was ready? So what was the point in asking for my name???? I'm livid and hangry by this point, so we sit back down to eat and they have only given my husband a 4 piece meal, although that's not what he ordered. I look at the receipt and she only charged me for the 4 piece so my husband was willing to let that go. Now, if that wasn't enough, we sit down to eat and our bread is cold and hard around the edges....and the breading on our chicken was too hard to even digest, so we had to pick that apart, our fries were lukewarm and the coleslaw was the only complaint I didn't have. I will NEVER step foot in another Zaxbys establishment!!! The most horrible excuse for a restaurant that I've ever encountered....FYI cashier's name was Martha S. And the location was Merchants Drive in...
Read moreOn 4.5.23, at 7:00 pm, we walked into this location. Two people standing at the counter placing their order.. we were next, but the girl ( full figure, dark hair) looked at us walked by and started wiping off trays. No one acknowledged us standing at the counter. She continued to wipe down the trays until I asked my boyfriend "do you really want to eat here?" Then my boyfriend said "can we get some help?" That's when she walked over to the counter, lifted her cap and ran her hand over her hair. Before she even asked us anything, a co-worker interrupted to as her what was the problem with the headset. She started helping her co-worker. After helping her co-worker, she again lifts her cap and runs her hand over her hair. At this point, I tell her nevermind and walked out at 7:06 pm. It took 6 minutes to be ignored and to get "NO...
Read moreI have enjoyed eating at zaxbys for many years, but honestly not impressed very much anymore. While the food is still yummy, it is sad that I am having to explain to the cashier how to ring up a buffalo chicken finger plate in original sauce. And I have traded the ranch sauce for zaxbys sauce since I was in high school (I graduated the year 2000). The guy behind the counter said to me that once the ranch was on my plate he couldn't trade it out so I asked another employee to give me 2 extra zaxbys sauces after he walked off because that was bs and I wasn't in the mood to argue with him. There needs to be better training, and all employees need to be on the same page. Also, making your customers happy and satisfied insures return visits so get with it on the customer service or go fill out some...
