This place exceeded all my expectations! I Google Map searched burgers and beers on the North end of Visalia and Kaweah caught my eye. A hot summer in August 2021 and I’m looking to also cool down and sit inside. It was 28 minutes from where I was at. So I went. I settled on the Holy Toledo IPA. They didn’t have any Red. The Toledo was great. Their menu looked nice and I couldn’t decide between the Kaweah Burger or the Chicken Wings. I ordered both. Definitely got leftovers. The burger was amazing. A little salty at first but the rest blended. I ordered the garlic fries. They were good and crispy. I had a couple of wings. Excellent! Could be spicy for some but I liked them.. The bathrooms were new and clean and the red accents gave it a nice touch. I wore my mask walking in and in the bathroom. Like everyone else inside, no masks. Very nice place if you like beer! Read moreA friend and I had some business nearby and since it was lunchtime, we decided to try Kaweah Brewing Co. Taproom and restaurant. I am glad we did. We were greeted by a friendly waitress who handed us menus and described the special of the day which was a tri-tip dip. It sounded so good we both had that. It arrived quickly and was marvelous. Very good flavor, tender meat with cheese and a lovely bun and served with a delicious dip and nice skinny french fries. This is easily the best dip sandwich I've had in a long, long time. Highly recommended. My friend tried one of their house beers (a brown ale, I believe) and pronounced it very good indeed. Since I don't drink, I stuck with a classic coca-cola which hit the spot. If you are anywhere near the north side of Visalia, you need to try this restaurant. Very good food and very good service. ...
Read moreThis is a great place to eat. I had to do some waiting for something in a nearby business and three different people recommended the brewing company. I don't drink alcohol, but there was plenty of water, tea and soft drinks. Both the house salad with shrimp and the dessert were delicious. That and a soft drink set me back $23, which is not bad at all. That's with an extra five bucks to add shrimp to the salad! Violet is the gal who took care of me about 95% of the time and she is a delight. She talked to me about the food in detail with references to the experience of friends and family. So much energy and friendliness. One more thing: something that has bothered me for about four decades is how places have prizes ending in 95 cents or 99 cents. This place, with one exception, have their prices in whole dollars....
