Santa Ana Fresh Mexican Food — Restaurant in Vista

I was working across the street at the recreation center for a County of San Diego Covid-19 Vaccination Site and needed a near by place to eat for lunch. Not knowing the area, I Googled what restaurants were near me and this place was the closest. Since I like and eat Mexican food a lot, I usually have my favorite places to eat various types of Mexican food has to offer. Instead of just ordering the normal rolled tacos and carne asada burrito, I ordered their San Felipe burrito which is basically like a "Surf 'n Turf" burrito that has carne asada along with shrimp. I was hesitant at first to order shrimp at a place I haven't eaten before but I went ahead and did. After eating the burrito, I was truly satisfied with the quality of taste, the size of the burrito, and the price. Carne asada was marinated and cooked to perfection. Has it's own distinguished taste that I haven't had before. A good amount of carne asada and very surprised how to the amount of shrimp was in the burrito! Much more than other places I've eaten at. The red salsa wasn't too hot for me and the pico that can inside the burrito was good as well. Next time I work across the street I will definitely go back here to try other things on their menu. Highly recommend this...

Im beyond disappointed with this service today. I come here All of the time and normally dont have a problem when the girls are working but today we went in to get breakfast burritos. We ordered 3 burritos 1 egg ham and cheese, the 2 was supposed to be egg ham cheese and beans, the 3 is supposed to be bacon egg cheese and ham. The guy had a hard time understanding us so he has us pull up to the window and we ordered again the same 3 burritos. I get home and the ham egg and cheese was correct but the other 2 werent. The one with beans egg and cheese was missing the ham even though it was written on the outside of the paper the burrito is wrapped in. I call to have them correct the burrito and was instantly told I was wrong and that we didnt order it with ham only with eggs cheese and beans. I tried to tell him multiple times that we did order it correctly because they even wrote on there beans and ham but didnt put the ham. The guy was so rude and after 5 mins of telling me im wrong finally tells me there is no manager and he cant do anything...

My first time here and the small drive thru is not too great. If you have a big truck or work vehicle you probably wont fit. So its Saturday and we waited in a long line just to get up to the speaker and she said cash only. WTH ? Why wouldnt you post a sign instead of waiting till the person gets all the way up to the speaker. Well anyways I had cash on me but usually dont. I got a California burrito and we got potato tacos. The tacos were really good not many Mexican restaurants sell those. They were crispy and good. The California burrito was good also I added sour cream . The horchata was really good. Now the churros were hard and seemed to be old. I read some reviews that people were saying they were good and mine were hard as a rock I threw they away! Anyways I would go back I'm going to try the taco salad...
