Aguacates Mexican Food — Restaurant in Vista

I asked if they could do a surf n turf burrito, even if it wasn’t on the menu. They said yes (twice) We asked if the California burrito has avocado, they said yes

When we got our food, instead of a surf n turf they just gave us shrimp burritos The California burritos also didn’t have avocado

They atleast asked if everything was ok with the food bc we were visibly upset. When we told them, the response was “sorry we don’t have a surf n turf burrito”. But they did apologize about the California burrito not having avocado (the irony of the place being named Aguacates) and gave us free drinks

Best burrito stand in vista in my opinion! If you havent been there your missing out fer shure. They are more than happy to customize you're order without hesitation. When i think burritos i think abiut this spot, always repspectg and heplful to their cousomers and willing to help you out as they can if you can return the great repspect the nicenes they show to their costomers, regulars people passin by, or mexicsn food enthusiast ( such as myself, will never hesitate to grap a bite from this spogt in vista. a quick bite of authentic latino heaven will NEVER be...

I only ordered a burrito so I can't speak to other menu items, but my burrito was very small in general and especially relative to the prices. Ingredients didn't taste very fresh and were lukewarm, at best. I was also accidentally overcharged so it's a good thing I checked my receipt before leaving. Customer service was great.
