Dominic's Pizza — Restaurant in Voorhees Township

Where does a NYC Transplant find a decent slice in South Jersey? Why, Dominics, of course. Since moving to Voorhees, I have tried many pizzarias around the town, but unfortunately, NO ONE beats this little joint. I can see where the other reviewer complained of lack of customer service, but hey, as pizza parlors go, this one is plenty friendly enough. There are a couple of things that makes this place special: First, the dough is hand-stretched, and is chewy inside while crispy outside. The other is that their level of friendliness is same regardless of your job, appearance, etc. I am an average Asian guy, and they treat me the same as the cops and doctors that come by for lunch.

For my son's birthday party, we ordered 7 large pies with various topping, and they were all just freaky delicious. My favorite is Dominic's Special, loaded with meats and veggies and dripping with all that goodness. My wife, who typically does not like pizza (go figure) will eat the Special. It is just that good.

It's worth fighting the Route 73 south traffic to get here. If you want bready pizza, go to one of the big chains. If you want a NY style thin crust pizza baked to perfection, this...

I’m leaving a one star because above all good customer service is what brings most people back. This is the first review I’m writing and I feel like it’s necessary because the older gentleman up front with the glasses has a very off putting attitude. He never looks pleased and i’ve been there enough times to know that he never changes. He won’t look you in the face or anything. The last time I went in I got a regular pizza that I noticed he rung up incorrectly, when I brought that to his attention he gave me a smug look and changed it without even apologizing for his error. I’ve had great experiences with other employees but since every time I order he’s the one I have to deal with, it becomes uncomfortable and makes me not wanna go back. My business recently moved into a warehouse in the area. Not being familiar with a lot of the "small business" fare in the area. On a whim, we ordered from Dominic's Pizza. They did not disappoint. We've been ordering from them a lot ever since and the food ALWAYS comes exactly how it's supposed to. They're very accommodating with "special requests", as well. Consistently deliver great food and they are my "go to" when entertaining clients. They actually are able to deliver HOT & CRISPY fries! I've never know delivery fries to be crispy! Uncanny!
