Best Burgers I ever had. Been going to this lil burger joint since i was a youngin living on herring ave at the MCH. I remeber going here when it was called Chucks old fashion hamburgers back in the early 90s. Knew the owners well. Burgers were good back then and still good now. Fresh ground beef on a nice toasted bun, Veggies are fresh and everything is made to order in front of you. You see them smash the meat on the cast iron board before slap it donw on the hot flat grille or. The sliver seasoned shaker that they use sprinkle it lightly over the fresh burger patties. Food comes out hot not a long wait at all. Get in early becasue lunch hour is packed. espically on saturday's. Everytime i come down to waco from Boston I always make a stop here and get my fix. Fresh burgers good Krispy hot fries the guys who work there always remeber me and my order. First thing i get when i walk in is how the weather in Boston mann!!!. lol. Good hole in the wall spot. I usally order the dubl hamburger basket with everything. Run it thru the garden with fries and a lg dr.pepper or big red. Great food great convo good group working the counter and grill. The place is extremely small, not very good and very over priced. I went at lunch time and it was very crowded, which I don't understand why because the food is not that good. The burger had a soggy bun and the fries tasted like they had not been cooked all the way and had very little flavor. Burger was 4 out of 10. Fries 2 out of 10. I saw them put call in and drive thru orders ahead of my ticket and it took about 20 min to get my food. While waiting I got a drink refill at least twice (the cups are fairly small) and had to wait in a line just to get a refill. One of the times I was getting a refill I saw a roach on the wall, I thought about getting a refund and walking out....I wish I would have. Two cheese burgers, one drink, one fry, 20 min and $14 later I had one of the worst food experiences of my life. Maybe it would be better if it wasn't a lunch rush but I will never go again!
