Pupuseria Mix — Restaurant in Waco

I could not taste the flavorings. I ordered a super one with Beef and Chicken, another with Pork, and another with Shrimp. I could taste no seasoning, not too much meat, and no flavor at all. It is basically like eating dough with some small amount of meat thrown in. You need to have a taste for something like this, and if you are not from El Salvador, you are probably not used to food tasting this bland and not filled. Mr.Chimetime a NC Foodie on Instagram recommended this location. My husband and I drove 1 hour and 10 mins to get here and it was worth the trip. I can't wait to go back. Got the $15 super pupusa, and boy did it not disappoint!!! It was delicious, had excellent flavor, and it wes big!! Filled up a standard plate to-go box. If you need bigger than that, they got what you need!! Hole in the wall with excellent flavors. You may have to wait a little bit because there is only 1 person working, but I promise it will be worth it!!
