Do you remember that old greasy/juicy double meat cheeseburger you loved when you were young, at the local burger joint or drive-in? I found it again! The first bite took me back years. That alone was worth the very modest price I paid. I also added an order of onion rings. Now, I am a very shrewd judge of onion rings, basing my judgement on the best onion rings ever made, at the old Chicken Shack on Dallas Highway. Wow! They were great, too! Burger was solid: flavorful, cooked well, and not too far off from/worse than In-N-Out (though twice the cost). The fries were crispy but tasted strange, kind of a bizarre water flavor to them. The milkshakes, vanilla and chocolate peanut butter, weren't good. Not real whipped cream despite it saying so on the receipt, the vanilla tasted like low quality mix and had a gray/brownish tint, and the consistency of both was thin. Food was hot and delicious. Customer service was excellent. Burgers and tots; can’t go wrong. Was hesitant, bc I grew up going to the location on the circle - but was pleasantly surprised. I am not a fan of the atmosphere. The tables and area where you sit, is a little awkward. But not terrible. The food was really good. Ordered two burgers, two tots and two drinks - Was around $40.
