My family and I use to love this place. The service was great and food was ok. Over the past month it has really gone down hill, let me explain. Three weeks ago my family of 5 went there on a Thursday night after my son's basketball game. It took over 1 hour 20 minutes to get food we ordered no more than 10 minutes after sitting down. The waitress stated we we sat down the kitchen was running a little behind, but never did she sat an hour. I let this slide because we ate here once a week and usually the food came out within 20 minutes of placing a order.
Flash forward to the very next week. I on my lunch break order a Beef Fajita Chimichanga meal to go. This usually comes with gravy and queso on top. I pick up my meal, tip the girl who hands it to me and drive back to work to eat. I get there to find there was no gravy or queso on the chimichanga. I know is sounds like I'm nit picking, but wait. I call back and the lady who answers the phone was asked if it comes with gravy and queso and she states "yes, oh wait I forgot to put it on yours right?" I say yes then she says I'm sorry, ill remember next time.
Flash forward to this week. I order a BEEF FAJITA chimichanga meal to go on my lunch break again. The lady taking my order repeats BEEF FAJITA CHIMICHANGA to me while placing my order. I say "yes, that's correct". I drive to the restaurant to pick up my order and ask to make sure the order had gravy and queso on it. She opens it and it has no queso. She tells me sorry then puts queso on it. No big deal I caught it before leaving right? WRONG! I drive back to work to find I have a chicken chimichanga not a beef fajita chimichanga. Not only did it pay $2 more for fajita, have to catch their mistake, tip the lady still, but go to eat my food and it still is not right. I drive back up there and tell them I want my money back and they give me a hard time. She says you want your money back? why? we can make you your order. I explain I don't have a 1.5 hour lunch break. I have driven about 20 miles now round trip and don't have time for them to cook another meal and still eat. Finally she refunds my money after 10 minutes and getting 3 other girls to help her. Stay away, the food is not that good. Oh P.S. the night my family went there and waited over an hour for food, my wife's tortilla soup had a fly in...
Read moreLast time I went there the cashier tried to short change me. Paid with a 20 for 1 quesadilla to find she wrote up the receipt for 10. I brought it to her attention and she gave me my proper change, but in retrospect, the more I think about, the more deliberate the short change seemed, as she tucked the 20 between the tip folders when she was standing in front of the register (especially seeing she had to open the register to get the change). I don't think I'll be returning after that If you are the manager of this establishment, I urge you to look back on your security cameras on July 2nd between 5:30pm and 6pm. I parked at the front of the store in a red mazda 3
Reply to owner: while I admit that I may have assumed that the register was used in order to get me change, your explaination does still not answer for why the receipt I received said I only paid with $10, and had I not said anything, I would have been shortchanged. I also never received a call from you, and that may be due to the incorrect number being written down. If such was the case, and you would like to discuss this further I'd be happy to, and will again call to give you my contact info. I do not aim to slander your business, and have changed my review from 1 star to 2 for voicing your concern, but I am still not convinced it was just a...
Read moreMy husband and I USED to LOVE this restaurant's food AND service. I went tonight to give it one last try. They recently changed management and while the place does appear cleaner, the former delicious food is now nasty. The enchilada sauce is watered down and has virtually NO FLAVOR. The beans and rice are bland. The chips used to be homemade, but now, they are shipped in from a supplier according to the new manager. Yuck. The salsa used to be so good you literally would not only eat it with your homemade chips, but would add it to the entire meal. It is now inedible because it is made with more jalapeños than you can shake a stick it. I got my order to go, so I tried to salvage the salsa by adding sugar, salt, more tomato, (by the way, the cilantro that used to be in the salsa is no longer there, so I added that, too) Nope! Still would burn the lips off a witch! I asked the new manager about the chips and he told me it was a business decision to change them, when I told him they didn't have the same flavor as the others and weren't as good, his response was, "Really? Well, every one's got an opinion." I certainly hope others will share their opinion! As for me and our household, we'll make the drive to eat...
