THIS PLACE CANNOT PROVIDE A CLEAN BEEF BOARD AND KNIFE PLUS CUTTER FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT EAT PORK. I WENT IN TO GET A BEEF SANDWICH AND THE CUTTING BOARD WAS CLEAN WITH A CLEAN KNIFE. JUST BEFORE HE STARTED MY CUT/ORDER A LADY REACHED OVER THE COUNTER HANDED THE MAN A SAUGAGE SAND. ORDER. HE GOT PORK LINKS SLICED THEM ON THE BOARD AND PORK JUICE FLOODED THE BOARD. HE MADE THE SANDWICHES. HE THEN GRABBED A CHUNCK OF BEEF DROPPED IT IN THE PORK JUICE AND SLICED MY BEEF SANDWICH, USED THE SAME CUTTING KNIFE AND SCOOPED UP THE PORK JUICE AND SHOOK IT ON THE BEEF SANDWICH. (I GUESS FOR FLAVOR) " LOL REALLY! I GAVE IT TO MY COUSIN WHO EATS PORK. JASPERS PROVIDED ME WITH COUPLE POUNDS OF BEEF WITH A CLEAN BORD AND KNIFE. The menu was actually refreshingly short (a positive for me) and we got in, we ordered what we wanted, paid a very reasonable price for it, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The creamed corn and the beans were both delicious with great flavor. The brisket was tender and melted in our mouths. The sausage had just the right crunch and amazing flavor. Sauce on the tables. It was a great experience and wonderful service - don't miss it! And yes, get there early as they may run out of certain items - the turkey...

But I've eaten there 4 or 5 times in August. Why? Because it is good BBQ. Big portions and great taste. I always get whats called a Regular Order, which is a pile of brisket (or other meats if you'd rather), several slices of bread and a cup of what they call "gravy".
