wine shoppe — Restaurant in Waco

This is not only my favorite wine shop/tasting room, but also one of my favorite places to visit regularly anywhere. Great for a quick visit on the weekdays or for a nice sit and swirl on Saturday (stay for the night time aperitivo which is free and goes until 9p). Wine tastings are always free and bottles offerings are always a boutiquey curated collection from the shop's owner David Mayfield. David is a wine distributor and is extremely knowledgable about wine with a special emphasis on natural wines. Bottles are priced very reasonably and they offer a great monthly CSA service that will earn you a little more value through a discount on retail wines in the shop as well as three hand picked...

Great spot! I love the little court yard area! I also like that they organize wine by country. Some days I'm feeling French wine and some days I'm feeling Italian. They have weekly bottles they will sell glasses of or you can buy your own bottle and drink with a friend! I love the simplicity of this shop. Carter has a wealth of knowledge that makes making a wine selection fun and I felt very confident in my selection. Each pick we made was well informed and I enjoyed every glass. I will definitely return with more friends to enjoy this Waco gem.
