They know us by the order #36 we get every time both me and my husband and we have my son hooked as well! When we have choice of place we request these people every time. They are awesome. The food is cooked fresh every time. The staff is crazy awesome. Not just because I went to school with the best waitress in the world.... but they treat everyone the same, like family! We have tried other menu items and have never been upset, but we can’t do wrong with #36!!!! Y’all rock and we will see y’all soon!! Best food, best...

it should be illegal to do this to seafood.

I got a(#37) shrimp oyster plate, beans & rice with coleslaw. The beans and rice were nice, creamy, not too spicy, and good. The seafood was off, and that's being nice. the shrimp appeared to be pre-cooked, then battered and fried. the batter is a yellow mix of some sort that made the oysters & shrimp yellow . the coating was too thick so I had to peel it off to get to the food. Unfortunately I lost interests before I reached my fill..

The reason I rated 4 stars is actually the reason I love it. It is a restaurant converted from another restaurant. Some of the old features remain like some of the tile. They are fixing it up piece by piece. The food is delicious. The service is amazing and friendly. It didn't seem very busy because there were only a few people in the restaurant but they did a brisk carry-out business. They've changed the name back to Sam's by the way. For which I'm glad because I never stopped...
