Dollar General — Local services in Wahoo

Typically amazing with what I need, today's new redish-haired guy wasn't very talkative, but maybe he was too busy learning to say hello? I was a little bummed that he didn't let me enter the number for some of the online discounts, but maybe next time. The other two guys who have been consistently courteous and hardworking with multiple shifts and long hours are usually a breath of fresh air in the craziness of life. Smiles and small talk make a difference! Here's hoping that their legendary leadership rubs off on the rest...

Newly updated store. Downtown business on busy intersection. 1 aisle hasn't had updated lights for 3 months. Possibly bring your own flashlight if you plan on buying cold and flu medicine. Zero cleaning outside of store. Employees take smoke break on old chairs next to building. Don't park on Southside of building if you don't enjoy walking through smoke, and used cigarette buds. I've walked sideways of major cities and this by far rates in the upper 10 percentile of filthy dollar...

About as average as you'd expect from a DG. The employees are almost always missing from the front counter. But don't worry, they're probably within shouting distance, either standing out front smoking cigarettes all together or stocking shelves.

They sell cheap things that aren't actually very cheap but they also have standardized pricing so I don't lame...
