I really wanted to like Marco's, but the experience has been very disappointing. The first time I ordered from there, my order was incorrect. They forgot an item. I ended up driving out there to pick it up myself.
I understand that mistakes happen and figured that I'd give it another shot. I ordered carry out and picked up the order with no problems.
Tonight was my third time ordering from there. I opted for delivery again. And much to my disappointment, they forgot an item again! This time I didn't want to drive out there to pick it up and I didn't want to wait for them to cook it and redeliver it. By then the rest of the food would be cold (lesson learned from the first time.) So when I called the only thing they could offer me was a store credit. They couldn't even refund me for the item so when I called the only thing they could offer me was a store credit. They couldn't even refund me for the item They never delivered. Instead I am expected to go there again and pick up a random item at some point in the future.
Needless to say, I don't think I'll try a fourth time. I most likely won't even go to make use of the "credit" for the missing item.
I'll just chalk it up to a learning experience and will simply avoid them in the future. Having an order correct only 1/3 of the time ( and 0 out of 2 times delivered) is enough for me to...

My wife ordered 3 large pies for pickup. Girl on the phone said they'd be ready in 25 min. We live less than a mile, so I left and waited in my car 25 min before walking in to pickup.
Walked in, gave the girl my wife's name. Girl responded, I don't see an order for that name. She asks, "do you have an order number?". I reply, did you give my wife an order number? Nope. I call my wife, now in a 3-way conversation. I give the girl my wife's cell phone, nope. No order found with that number. I give her my cell number, nope. No order with that number. Meanwhile, I can see three large pies sitting on the shelf. Pretty sure those were ours.
I left without pies, and had to drive to the Retail Dr. to order our pies.
FTR, the girl seemed emotionally 'checked out'. Uninterested in working there, or unhappy about working the weekend.
One last thing, I noticed a few employees making pies had beards that were not covered. I saw other peoples negative reviews about hairs in their pies. I'm pretty sure the hair is facial hair from being uncovered in the back kitchen area. The state I moved away from to NC, was a state law that food prepares must wear a cover over their facial hair. Read moreI have had some bad experiences at others marcos pizzas but i said screw it and decided to go grab some grub. I called in and placed an order for delivery but they didn't deliver to my house. i said you know what i'm in a good mood so i jumped in my 2012 Chevy Bolt and hurried on down for my carry out order. I get to the store and my pizza wasn't quite ready but no problem i'll wait. I decided go ahead and use the bathroom because i was already waiting. As i entered the bathroom all i could smell was POT. The fumes were so strong i thought i may pass out. I typically would call the police but i currently have a warrant out for my arrest and i don't want to deal with the trouble. After dropping a mondo-duke i grabbed my pizza tipped the boy upfront and headed home. Half way home and i realized that they messed up my order. I asked for no sauce and light cheese but i got EXTRA SAUCE and no cheese at all. Even my kids won't eat this so i called in to the store and told them my problem.
