Great service…high quality food…always freshly prepared!!

I’ve been acquainted with Wayback Burgers for many years now. I would frequent the Raleigh location and introduced a number of family/friends to their greatness, so I was excited to see the brand branch out to Wake Forest!! Happily, I was NOT disappointed when I dined in a few weeks back. The atmosphere was quaint, yet full of professionalism, cleanliness, and good vibes!! The prices are competitive and don’t break the bank, which is always a plus. Today, I ordered the double bacon burger combo with fries and a drink. What sets these burgers apart from other burger establishments (in my opinion) isn’t the a la carte menu items or the delicious shakes, but the BUNS!! OMG, the buns are soft, yet sturdy - and they marry perfectly with the burger!! I am a sucker for fresh food, piping hot, and due to the nature of the business, I never worry about receiving cold fries or sandwiches!! The restaurant maintains a clean environment - I went to sit down and the staff quickly addressed a dirty table without being prompted. The food comes out in a timely manner with minimal wait. This restaurant rests in a great location across from a high school I am connected to through work, as well as a neighborhood that is steadily growing, so I’m confident it will be open for...

We have to say that we were pleasantly surprised. Just stopped here because it's new to the neighborhood. We placed an order for the classic burgers and they were the juiciest, tastiest burgers that we have had in quite a awhile. These burgers had the perfect amount of condiments and the buns were soft and fresh. Everything complimented each other from the onions that were cut to perfection to the fresh lettuce and fresh tomatoes slices. I knew it was special because when I took my first bite I was quiet until my last bite. That's when we know that it is really good. We are definitely coming back as we are curious now to try all the burgers. Because if the classic is this tasty? We can only imagine how Yummy the other ones will be. As for the shakes, we definitely would like to try the apple pie one which is limited time only when we come back.

Almost forgot as for the sides they have tater tots Mac and cheese bites fried pickles and onion rings just to name a few. They have something that interested me a lot which is called the cheesy and its 4 slices of melted American cheese, 2 beef patties sandwiched between inverted grilled and buttered buns yippee. Tried out this location for lunch today. Not too busy for a Saturday and we were serviced rather quickly. The best thing about this location was the young man behind the register. He was kind and quick. We had an issue with the buffalo chicken sandwich when it was served. It came out with tomato when we ordered without (no big deal), and drenched in sauce. I don’t understand how someone could look at this and serve it. We just requested a plain bottom bun and gave back the bottom half. It was not busy at all, yet my partner was ignored by the 4 individuals behind the counter for several minutes. The young man on register came back up from doing a couple dishes and helped out right away. He took one look at the plate and told the 4 people in the back that it needed to be fixed. I hope this gentleman is acknowledged by management. We might try again...
