great place to chill...if not packed. given the menu, i can imagine if this place gets busy during meal time. lots of sandwiches and stuff to offer! barista is pleasant and informative - knew enough to double check and prevented me from ordering an espresso size of beverage and being disappointed. i ended up with a latte that i was happy with, along with a cannoli freshly assembled. the place has booth seats, table seats, and...window seats!! nice big widows to look outside onto the road, or stare at one of the TVs if you prefer. either way, plenty of things to look at. tables had some crumbs when we sat down - not extremely messy but could use a wipe. our booth seats at the back of the room was quite tight - i was kicking not even my friend's legs but her booth without fully extending my rather short legs. we had to sit at a 4-seater to avoid playing footsie. other than that, the place was a good place to chill with a friend or two, or spend some alone time. there is a small lot in the back entering from side street (one way out onto main road), and - surprisingly - they have a drive-through! can't say about the wait at peak time as there was no business at the window when we visited on a weekend afternoon. wish there were more dessert/small bites choices to go down with the coffee...maybe an offering of cheesecake, coffee cake, of sorts.

I just moved to the area and have been here twice now to get breakfast sandwiches for take out. The first time I ordered a ham, egg and cheese on a cibata roll, then the next time I ordered a ham, egg and cheese on an English muffin. My wife ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. The breakfast sandwiches are very good and I'd recommend. I wouldn't say they will blow you away but they are a solid breakfast sandwich and I'll definitely be coming back for more in the future. They are pretty filling, and it also didn't take long for them to make it; they have an efficient system. The inside is very cute, it is very much an Italian theme and has bottles of lemoncello out in a decorative way. The atmosphere is very nice and it makes me want to dine in soon.

Found this place last week gave it a try and got a cocco bello my wife got a banana bread latte and it was so good ! That I came back the next day and it was horrible the lady did remake it but there was no difference unfortunately we just left . Then we decided to give it a last shot just cause our first coffee was so delicious and it’s so close to home And my wife decided to go with her original order banana bread latte . And it was just thrown together wasn’t done right a pile of cinnamon on the top just pure disgusting and we just threw it away !( Pictures for reference)Maybe we can train ALL staff on how to make the coffees 🥹

Food is delicious and fresh. I have been a loyal and frequent customer for a couple of years now because everything there is tasty, but unfortunately, due to a negative experience with the owner today, I will not be coming back. We ordered our food with the pleasant young man at the register, and then, after paying, were instructed by him to take a seat. He said he'd bring our food over to us. We said thanks, took a seat, and chatted while we waited for our food. About ten minutes later, the owner came out carrying my friend's sandwich, and he was looking around the cafe to see who it belonged too. We raised our hand, smiled and said 'that's ours.' He walked over and nastily said 'next time, take a number!" Wait...what? What number? I told him no one told us to take a number, and that his tone is incredibly rude. I told him I am a loyal customer and I can't believe how he spoke to us. He then came closer, put his hand on my shoulder and quietly said something really condescending to me. I was beside myself. A loyal customer (who is kind and respectful) who frequents the business many times per week, and this is how we are treated? Why couldn't he have just brought the food over and said 'enjoy!" ? Then, if he wished, he could have gone back to his staff and remind them to either give out numbers or tell people to take one. Clearly he was having a bad day and took it out on us. Honestly, I am not totally surprised at his actions, having known this type of Italian 'man' throughout my life, but it was shocking to see it happen in front of everyone....

Update 9/24: I’ve been back here about 20 times since writing my original review, and the service has improved a lot, so I felt I needed to update this review and add 2 more stars. The food and coffee is still excellent, and the prices still feel like what you’d find in downtown Boston, not 10 miles out in the suburbs. I haven’t been for dinner yet, but I’m looking forward to trying it. Also, if you’re crossing Main St in front of the cafe be careful as cars go really fast on this stretch of road.

Original review:

I’ve been here at least 4 or 5 times recently, as it’s close to where I live. Have only done takeout orders so far, mostly sandwiches and coffee, and haven’t tried eating at the cafe.

Pros: good food and coffee, all the sandwiches I’ve tried were great. Nice interior, good amount of space and seating.

Cons: quite expensive. Extremely slow service, even just trying to pick up an online order after it was ready. Their website ordering system charges a fee for all online orders including pickup, and the ordering kiosks inside the store also charge a fee to use. Last time I went I ordered a coffee (in person to avoid fees) and after paying I noticed the price on the TV screen menus was more than a dollar under what I had just paid. When I brought it up to the person who took my order I was told the menu price being displayed on the screen was “old”. Felt like a bait and switch. The prices are already high, but apparently even higher than displayed? Really hard for me to justify going back, even with...

I had to give this review one star in Oder to post..Cubo Cafe & Bistro deserves zero stars. My husband and 3 of his retired friends went to Cibo Cafe and Bistro for the first time. My husband was the first to order, a breakfast sandwich and iced coffee, his other 3 friends had coffee and muffins. After waiting approximately 20 minutes for his sandwich, he went to the counter asking when the sandwich would be ready. They kept telling him 5 more minutes, 5 more minutes. After waiting a little more time he went up to the counter stating he wanted his money back, his friends were finished with their coffee and muffins and were ready to leave. He asked to speak to the owner, they said he was busy. Since the owner did not respond to his request, the party got up to leave. At this point the waitress brought his sandwich out in a bag and dropped on the table. Once the group was outside getting into their car, his friend, who speaks Italian saw the owner and attempted to make him aware of the incident. The owner offered no satisfaction to my husband or his friend. The end result of this discussion in Italian was the owner telling my husbands friend “ if you don’t like it, don’t come back”. My husband has never been treated so disrespectfully in all of his 70 years. With this type of customer service, please do not frequent this establishment as the employees and owner are rude and unwilling to correct a customers legitimate complaint. They don’t deserve...
