Fresh Mexican — Restaurant in Waldport

"Fresh Mexican", when their Margaritas are from a prepackaged mix, and I had fresher chips from a Costco bag that's been opened for a week?

I digress, I'm still a little salty at the lack of salt. Or service.

Came here with my partner for dinner on a Friday night, about 6 tables counting us. Everything started... odd. A server came over with a sparsely filled basket of chips, and a side of salsa - complimentary. Extra baskets are $2/ea - ideally not as sparsely filled? Regardless, the chips in the basket were from a bag opened for a few days. Disappointing.

After seeing the drink options, it was obvious everything was pre-packaged - no formal bartender appeared to be working. My partner's margarita lacked salt, flavor, or booze.

Service: Had to ask for water. Had to ask for water refills. Had to go to the counter to get water filled after our server ghosted us. Never checked to see how our meals were after a food runner brought them out. Borderline unpleasant when they were there.

Food: I ordered fished tacos, which were between good and very good flavor wise. The beans and rice that accompanied them were meh at best. Rice was very dry and lacked flavor, beans were bland and tepid in temperature. My partner said their...

Typically, when I think of this niche of dining ala-Amercana, I think... "It's going to be so heavy... It's going to be loaded with grease... The meat will be equivalent to human dog food.😕"

This place??? RIGHT SMACK DAB in the OFF SEASON??? It can't be any good!

No joke Yelpers' ... It's for real! I had the Chicken Salad and Chicken Burrito. Not expecting much, I over ordered.

This chicken is sooo clean and tastes like your grandma raised it, killed it, prepped it, cooked it, and prepared it just for you!

Real meat! Lean! Sumptuous! Devoid of that "soaked in grease" flavor. They supplied us with chips and salsa to go with our order. Their salsa is AMAZING!!!

Do yourself a favor... Take away your meal from Fresco Family Restaurant in Waldport! And, enjoy the flavor as your teeth crunch through the delectable food... It's real! It's authentic! It's clean! Fresco means fresco here!

My husband and I had dinner here tonight. I was personal disappointed. I ordered a shredded beef chimichanga with refried beans and rice. My husband had a pork tamale, chili relleno, refried beans, and rice.

When I placed my order I asked for my chimichanga to be extra crispy when deep fried, sour cream, guacamole, and tomato to be on the side. When the order arrived the sour cream, guacamole, and tomatos were on top and the chimichanga was NOT deep fried but slightly pan fried. The rice had no flavor and the beans were missing salt. Very small portion size.

My husband pork tamale had little pork but tasted good. His chili relleno was flat, under seasoned and missingflavor. The rice had no flavor and the beans were missing salt. Very small portion size. We left not satisfied and still hungry.

After the food was served no one came to the table to inquire if we needed anything or if we were enjoying the food.
