I ordered take out for my family (I'm not sure if my prior post will still be up) but I asked to pay more for extra lobster in my dish. They told me no. Which is fine. But when I got home, there was none. So I called. My voice, my demeanor was calm. I did not ask for a refund or for anything free. I'm in the restaurant business. I told them they should reconsider their policy because you can add anything, to any dish, at any restaurant for an up charge. He yelled at me. YELLED at me. My fiance got upset and called and asked to talked to the owner or manager. He threatened him and told him to come in there so he could call the police. Obviously we were not going to go there. But he threatened us. To call the police... Because we asked for more lobster (TO PAY for more) and didn't receive any. This is insane. I took the phone and tried to sort it out calmly. He told me he didn't want to talk to me because I am a female. His exact words were "I don't want to talk to a woman." I can't explain the disappointment. I told him I liked their food, I'm a return customer, just disappointed with this particular experience... He just kept yelling at me. We hung up. He called me back to yell at me some more, then tell me he doesn't treat customers like that, quote "just me", and told me to forget about it. Never experienced anything like...
Read moreI ordered here after looking at their website which is linked thru Google or Bing. Be warned the menu linked on the website is not accurate at all. My lunch cost 3$ more than listed there. When I commented to the young man cashing me out he stated that they can't change that Menu as they didn't put it up. But we live in a digital age they should be able to make a new website or hire someone to make one they could update. I'm computer illiterate and still made a website using a service online and at a low cost of 20$ per year for the domain.
Anyhow on to the food the General Tso's chicken lunch special was good not great. The spice level was a bit underwhelming for a "spicy" dish. But it was a good value for the lunch portion.
The Fried wontons while extremely generous in portion were not that appealing. Very over fried and they were squeezed into something resembling badminton birdie's. This along with the over fry made them hard and the filling wasn't inspiring. I wouldn't order these again.
Will I eat here again probably because of the 4 Asian restaurants close by this is the best for...
Read moreI ordered the Mongolian Beef combination meal. Even though I ate in, I had to order from the front counter and the food was served in to-go packaging. I was left to get my own eating utensils and condiments. They have a VERY small selection of canned or bottled sodas. The first thing I noticed was that the gravy had been overthickened with corn starch/arrow root powder to the point of being gelatinous. In addition, the beef was of a consistency of having been way to tough to start and severely overboiled to tenderize it. Other than these issues, the depth and quality of flavor easily overcame the previously mentioned shortcomings. The amount of heat was perfect. Sadly though, no fortune cookies are included in the meal. If it hadn't been for the great flavors, I would have rated my visit with three stars instead of four. It is also the reason that I would go back and try other menu items. Next time I will avoid the beef and...
