It’s been twice now that I order an item through drive thru and feel like the error could have been avoided if the clerk reads the items back to you to make sure they have the order right especially since it’s more expensive to eat out and inconvenient to go all the way home and find your items are wrong .The first occasion I was on the phone while my bf was ordering my item and I heard him say Ceviche tostada= when he got back I was given a Veggie tostada which is just smeared on refried beans, lettuce, and cheese when I called to let them maybe our order got mixed up the gal was very defensive saying he said veggie when he ordered and offered to provide the ceviche tostada I did not argue and declined as I didn’t want to make another trip back into town, I just wanted them to be aware as I know dinner time is busy. This second time I thought I was ordering a Mexican steak plate and even said steak more than once during our interaction, when I pulled up I could see there was a burrito in my bag so I said hey I don’t think this is mine as I didn’t order a burrito and the gal at the window said yes you ordered a #6, I asked what’s the number #6 since I couldn’t see the menu at the window and she explained it’s a chorizo, egg, and potato burrito . And I responded ok maybe I was looking at the burrito section but I said Mexican steak several times? And she offered to change it but there were several cars behind me and I was in a hurry so I said it was fine I’ll just take it. Definitely recommend you open all your items before you leave the...
Read moreThis is the best Mexican food in Walla Walla. I just moved to town and everyone I asked said to go to this restaurant. I was thinking, is the food really this good, or is it a local nostalgia? Nope, the food is FANTASTIC! I haven't had this good of food since I last visited Mexico. It's the real deal. Quality meats and ingredients. Wonderful array of hot sauces to try. I personally like the hot green one. They give you a lot of food so go ahead and try something new. I always order burritos because it's a safe bet. I tried their 5 taco special and thought, i bet they're tiny, I should be getting the burrito to fill me up. Nope, the five tacos were excellent quality and quantity. I almost ruined the meal by adding sour cream and lettuce. Typical American. I learned to try their recipes as they are. There are reasons why they do a thing a certain way. It was meat, (wonderful taste and quality), chopped onions, cilantro, and lime to squeeze. Prefect. I can't believe I almost ruined it. 😃. And the staff? FANTASTIC! If it wasn't enough for the food, I would still go here for the service. And don't forget, good prices! Oh, and those that suffer, GLUTEN FREE 😃 OPTIONS! And ask them, the know what is and what isn't! How can...
Read moreI ordered 3 tamales for my son I asked if rice and beans came with order and she told me NO I then asked for 3 chicken enchiladas which is where things got messed up she obviously heard me wrong which is not the problem mistakes happen when I received our food I realized she ordered tamales again but this time it came with rice and beans? So I politely went up to the counter and asked what she put on the order which was tamales and I let her know I wanted enchiladas instead of helping me correct this mistake she argued with me and insisted I said tamales and was bluntly rude I walked away because at that point I knew I was getting nowhere with this lady.. I went back to my seat and sent the food back no one asked me what they could do to fix anything.. my husband went to the counter to order the correct food when he told her he wanted 3 green enchiladas he asked those are green right just to double check and her response was all you have to say is green with an attitude again besides the issues with the Hispanic Lady with blondish hair and glasses. Overall the food was good and we enjoyed our meal after this whole ordeal but I will say I will no longer come here simply because of this lady's...
