Mamma Mia's Italian Pizzeria — Restaurant in Wallburg

What a complete disappointment here. My husband raved about you all so I decided to get dinner here for my whole family. Where should I begin? The garlic knots were balls of dough. We had to put them in our air fryer. The stromboli was also raw dough. Just gross. Flavorless on top of that. The bacon fries were not layered, undercooked and also unseasoned. The meats within the antipasto salad wasn't sliced properly. We had to chop it up so we weren't grabbing full slices of meat. Kens dressing? We already had that at home. Nothing special about the Caeser salad, little parmesan cheese provided. The kids liked their pizza but honestly what kid complains about pizza? Will I spend another hundred at this place? Absolutely not... clearly you have to go to New England to get authentic Italian. Maybe it was a different cook than when my husband ordered for the kids who knows. Maybe we should of ordered on a Friday night. All I know is...

I am a delivery driver that picked up a doordash order on Feb 23 2022 at around 5:30pm. Upon entering the employees at the front told me to fill the customers 4 drinks. I refused seeing as how 1 I don't work for them and 2 that's completely unsanitary. I immediately informed my customer of what they told me to do and the customer was shocked. The employees didn't even ask me to wash my hands or use hand sanitizer or anything. One of the employees was even so bold as to say "Oh, you're one of those people". Yes I am in fact the kind of person that wants the customers food to be prepared under sanitary conditions. Also if this is something this restaurant does as a matter of routine then they are trying to exploit free labor out of delivery drivers. I should not be asked to work for free and customers should not receive food prepared by unqualified unclean delivery drivers. Hire your own employees to...

Very good food and service!! The reason for 4 stars.. is giant portions!! Taste wonderful and good temperatures. A spaghetti and meatball order could feed myself and my 2 young children. There are boxes to take stuff home but that is a lot of food!! My children did like and ate the chicken strips which is always a plus, however they did need to wait for them even after my husband and I got our meals. Not sure what hold up was. It is a make as your order set up. So that could be worked on but thankfully my kids were well behaved!! The little place is so cute and well decorated. The staff wass laughing and working. We were waited on a few time by a few different staff members. If I am ever in Winston-Salem NC again, I will return. Definitely recommend...
