CRISP — Restaurant in Walpole

Ok so first I just want to ad that I came across this resteraunt as of 1 month ago in WAlpole Massachusetts as for seafood we have no seafood place around except this one ..my first order was a clam belly plate 23$ that was good the clams were great flavored seasoned enough a little to salty for my tasting but the fries I couldn’t even eat them because they drowned them in way way to much salt and today I bought a shrimp plate with onion rings & fries out of this order the shrimp tasted good very greasy extremely greasy / ((( one of the greasiest foods I have ever ate in my life ))the onion rings came all out of the batter completely so the batter was everywhere & only got to eat two because the batter were off the onion rings ..lost my appetite to finish ,,when my food arrived it was fast delivery def 5 stars I mean they were super fast no problem .. so then I said I’ll eat the fries whatever I don’t want to be picky 2 time trying the food thought the first time coulda been that day !!!let me give them one more try ..wrong i was !!!!!it was the food experience not me ///the fry this time were so salty I couldn’t even eat a second fríe ...the fries were with salt they over over due the salt two people tried them in mu house said the same thing said they were way over salty not edible at all ..*I do lots of food reviews I am a food lover ...I have done 10 k more reviews this is one of my worst ones I hated that I had to give them a 2 star ⭐️ ⭐️ Because I was hoping the looks of the pictures it definitely looked so good ...the food is very greasy & way to salty the clams were great the shrimp 🍤 as well as the clams were a 3 star in flavor a little to much to my tasting with the salt I feel seafood shouldn’t have much salt just flavor that could be just me but I wanted to give my review also provide a picture of my plate ..if the owner reads this I hope that if I were the owners in order to keep my Business going I’d def take a look at the cook talk to him about salt because the food was very very salty I can’t eat salty food it’s not good for anyone but to not be able to even eat it is pretty bad and I never have given any other resteraunt a 2 stars in my life time & I have given over 10 k reviews ...I’m actually sad because now I won’t order from here ever again I’ll find another place that actually don’t drowned the food in salt but I hope the owners see this and really have someone try the exact things I tasted because if this was my resteraunt I’d def tell the cook to go east on salt so that my customers could remain happy ...also I called to tell them what happened I asked that my shrimp plate be refunded because it was not edible she said they didn’t do refunds they’d offered me 10$ on 43 $ order back out of my order witch personally I woulda refunded my customer because after all customers are what pays the bills it’s not just coming out of no where but it’s ok it’s definitely an experience I have had im sharing it abs hoping that as hungry as you may think you are for the things I have ordered don’t waste your money$$ we are in a pandemic as is .so please find a place that can cook and can serve proper customer satisfaction after all it’s the customers you have to keep happy to run any business...100% my opinion lots of others would agree because without happy customers their is no success running a...

Just ordered two pizzas from crisp. Order showed up everything looked great. Opened one pizza and it looked like it might of slipped around in the car on the delivery, not a big deal. Called crisp and let them know about the pizza and see if I could get another one. I called and the person that answered put me on the line with the manager. I asked if I could get another pizza delivered, He told me that he didn’t have anyone able to deliver. Even though I don’t think the delivery person that dropped off the pizza had even got back to Crisp seeing I live less the a half mile from the place. I was put on the line with manager and told him that I was just needed a new pizza. This is when it got great. The manager told me that how did he know that I didn’t alter the pizza. Awesome. Work all day, order a couple pizzas for your family and get accused of altering the pizza. Hilarious. So I took the pizza and dropped it back to its owner. He told me he would make me another one or a gift card. Classic. I am sure If he reads this he will say I was mad and swore. Definitely did. If you want to order your pizza from a tough guy in the future this is your place. But if they get it wrong. Don’t be surprised if you get accused of altering the pizza. LOL. For the refund. Celiac Disease People Beware! Here we go again. My reviews of “Crisp” pizza keep going up and down. When they are down it’s not because of the quality of the food. We love their bar pizza & wings. The problem is once again with staff not taking Celiac Disease seriously. Last time dining in we had a server who was excellent about this but this time when we went to pick up 2 pizzas to go they were not labeled. One was supposed to be regular and the other a GF pizza, but how was one to know. We asked the young lady at the counter and she couldn’t answer. In all fairness this responsibility lies with the one who prepared the food to make sure the server labels and serves it correctly. This is the second time we’ve had a problem with Crisp not labeling the GF pizza. The first time my grandson became violently ill after eating a regular pizza that was supposed to be GF. Fortunately my wife is astute enough to be able to inspect both pizzas (they do appear a little different, especially on the underside of the pizza) and taste both to determine which one was GF. So thanks to the customer(my wife) not “Crisp” my grandson was safe and thoroughly enjoyed his pizza with no issues.
