Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Walpole

I worked in a deli for a few years, which is why I prefer Jersey to most places but the crew definitely needs more training on the second half of the makeline.

Blonde kid looked lost and afterward i had to ask him to not use the bag that fell on the floor (which he still used, pretty sure that's unsanitary) and I was about to be charged extra for bacon on a sandwich that already comes with bacon by the kid with a beard and glasses. Open the sandwich up to eat and it's not even close to 4 equal pieces- butt end was cut maybe 3 inches, two others were different sizes and somehow I ended with a regular size uncut sandwich.

First guy that attended me seemed to know what he was doing, but the rest of the staff could use some refreshers. First visit at Jersey Mike's that has me writing a review.

Make sure you watch them make your sandwich correctly and that they charge you...

Worst customer service. I walked in at 8:35 (close at 9… sorry, long day on the road and I needed to eat… But you’re still open!). Young man working the counter rushed me SO much. I have never been to Jersey Mikes before so I was observing the menu. I also have allergies so I was trying to figure out what to eat. He kept audibly sighing. Would not stop asking “are you ready to order?”. No manners. I get It, who likes serving someone 25 minutes before you close?

A group of young men came in after and as soon as they walked through the door the same guy behind the counter asked them “do you know what you want?”. Didn’t even greet them.

If you don’t like working in customer service, get another job. Not coming back to this location again. It’s no fun being greeted...

Ordered the Turkey club medium The man working the slicer puts the very end of a turkey breast on the slice . I’m talking maybe 3/8 of an inch thick . It looks to me like it should be thrown away . I said to the man can you give me a new turkey breast . He says no sir I’m sorry but I have to use it . I couldn’t believe it . It’s take it or leave it . So I had to switch to an Italian cold cut.What ever happened to sure sir and make me happy. I go there 2 times a week . Disgusting trying too squeeze another sandwich out of nothing . How many times was it picked up and put back in the case to get to the very end .maybe 100 . Good way to lose customers ! I won’t be going back anytime soon .
