Went for the first time today and it was KILLER! It's just a little baby place, with a beautiful patio with views of the water. The waitresses are busy and no nonsense, but that's fine. I got 3 oysters and 3 little necks from the raw bar. The oysters were super small today, but good. However, the little necks are where its AT! I'll get a dozen of those next time. The sauce they serve with it is AWESOME SAUCE! I ate them so fast I forgot to snap a picture first.
Then I got the small lobster roll and clam chowder combo. $27 and Holy whoa!! The clam chowder has all the right ingredients, starting with BACON! So. Good. I debated the monsta roll, but opted for the small and thank GOODNESS I did. Who can EAT THAT??!?! The small was CHOCK FULL of HUGE lobster meat sections. It was served chilled, but undressed, with a side of warm, drawn butter and lemon. It was served on a perfectly toasted hot dog bun. So. Perfect.
I also got a Rum Runner that made it all divine. Sat outside on a beautiful day and it was damn near perfect.
UPDATE: NEW FAVORITE! We are in town for business every Sept/Oct for about 6 weeks. We have tried to visit this place many times before, but they always closed for the season. Now they are staying open later in the season and we are SOOOOO happy! This place ROCKS!
Cute little place, love the outside deck, but let's get real, it's all about the food!
We've been twice now. I got the small (yeah, right) lobster roll and clam chowder combo both times I came. FIrst, I don't know who can eat the Monsta one, not I. The "small" is bigger than anyone else's I've seen. If you look closely at the last pic I posted of the lobster roll, there is an ENTIRE lobster in there. There is a full, uncut lobster tail, and two full, uncut claws, and a ton of other meat around it. Full lobster kids. The grill on the bun is perfect. While the bun is hot, the lobster itself is served cold and undressed, but with warm drawn butter on the side. MMmmmmmmmm. It's my fav lobster roll hands down.
Both times I've had a few of the raw littlenecks. So good.
Also last time, the BF went with me and he had the Cuban sandwich, as he is not a fan of clams or lobster (I know, and I stay with him anyway). This Cubano was INSANE good! I had a couple bites. We both love a Cubano, and this is probably the best one either of us have ever had. Great bread, and it's HUGE! All in all, great place, great food, great vibe, friendly peeps. Can't wait til next...
Read moreDo people not understand what a PLAIN ice water means? Started off poorly by my having to remove a lemon slice. I ordered a lobster boil type meal. The lobster was dry and tasteless and the corn was horrible as well. Our server didn't come back for a bit. When I mentioned it, the girl asked if I wanted her to "do something with it." What exactly are you going to do with it? Not sure if it was frozen or what. I was polite but she acted a bit miffed. I don't want to eat any food from a kitchen after complaining either because even though I try to be nice, sorry, but I don't trust people not to spit. At that point, I hadn't even tasted the corn. I would have sent the meal back then if i had. The steamers were great though, and the macaroni salad. After we finished, our server did ask if we wanted to hang a bit, which was nice because we got there early for a concert, but then the fire alarm went off and we had to go outside. We waited a bit and honestly I didn't feel like even paying at all. We couldn't use our cards so ended up tipping $7 on a $73 meal. I don't feel too bad, you didn't offer me anything off to make up for...

Attempted to bring my mom here for her birthday because all she wanted was a mojito. When I did a google search, this place came up and had good reviews. Drove 30 minutes to be completely ignored after being seated by the host who barely spoke to us and walked away mid sentence when we were apparently supposed to know to follow him. He had no communication so we really didn’t know what was going on.
We watched other people be seated, greeted, and served drinks before we even got a greeting. Needless to say we left before being served because I personally wasn’t wasting my time or money here after this first impression.
I know with COVID a lot of restaurants are struggling and understaffed but this wasn’t the case here. It was also around 2-3pm on a weekday and they were not busy. I can deal with waiting but it’s more the fact that people seated after us had drinks before we were even spoken to. Then as we were leaving 5 employees were standing at the front talking so obviously staffing...
