I will NEVER EVER intentionally go to this restaurant again. I went to the drive through. The cashier was not pleasant. There was a car in front of me waiting for her food. But she was partially blocking the lane so I waited a good 5 minutes before I tooted my horn. When I tooted my horn the server started yelling at her to pull up her car (yes, I mean yelling). When I got to the window my simple order was ready. So I asked the cashier how has she and I been waiting here so long and my food is ready but hers is not. The cashier gave me an incredulous look and told me to have a good day. I pulled up to the car and told the young lady that perhaps she should go in and get her money back. She noticeably frustrated told me that her lunch break was almost over and that she didn't have time to go through all of that.
So that's that part. The other part is that a friend went with me and needed to relieve themselves and told me they would order while they were inside. When they came out without any food I asked why they didn't order. They said that the inside was filthy and that the servers were very rude to everyone.
Worst of it all. My food looked good but was not good. And, was still red by the bone of the thigh and still pink by the bone of the leg - so it wasn't fully cooked.
If I could give this place a lower...
Read moreFor many years, there used to be a Church's restaurant on 16 Mile & John R (I live in Troy) which operated in the same space as a local White Castle, but for whatever reason it went out of business. Because of that, I decided to come to this location for my online order, being that it is now the one in closest proximity to where I live and I hadn't been to a Church's in years. I came here once a few years ago. I was very disappointed. I ordered the four piece meal (two breasts, two thighs, and the complimentary side dish and beverage). The French fries were excessively greasy, and the chicken was mediocre at best. I threw it out. Not only that, but the atmosphere was dreary and depressing. On a side note, why would anyone want to open a restaurant franchise next to a U-Haul plant?
This used to be one of my favorite fried chicken places. Not anymore. I highly recommend BBQ Chicken (it's a Korean joint). KFC, Chicken Shack, and even Popeye's (which admittedly, I am not a big fan of) are all better than this third-rate greasy spoon. Never again will I give you my money. Goodbye and good...
Read moreI ordered through the drive thru, no one never came to the mic, so I decided to pull around after two minutes, I assumed it wasn’t working since I didn’t even get a moment please. My order was taken at the window with no problems. My total time there may have been seven minutes.
I ordered a two piece meal, a number one. The chicken was not hot and this is probably due to cooking a lot of chicken and it sits waiting on customers to order it. The chicken was not crispy the inside was done but in my opinion not cooked long enough. It could have used an extra minute or two. The fries were overdone. Jalapeño mushy not very much juice to squeeze from it. The only things good from the order was my drink and biscuit. I have wasted lunch and money. I couldn’t eat the food. The main thing that ruined it was the chicken.
I am less likely to return here and if I do it will not be through the drive thru and I would like my chicken fresh, hot and crispy. I don’t want any that’s been sitting around, which you can see better if you go...
