I have been going to Luke's Inn for well over 30 years for take-out and dine- in. My recent visit will be my last. Two weeks ago I ordered a few items, a small chow mein being one of them. After getting home we realized they didn't give us the noodles. No big deal.... so we called and they said we'll give it to you next time. Fast forward 3 weeks and we went for lunch. On the way out we mentioned the small chow mein. He took out our slip and he said "no, you ordered chop suey." I disagreed as I have never ordered chop suey my whole life....I'm a chow mein person. He negated what I had to say insisting they read back the order on the phone, which they didn't, and did not offer any resolution. You would think for 8.00 they would make it right. I don't think a small is even 8.00. So they lost more than that fee because we won't be going back. The steamed vegetables for lunch that day were practically raw and it took us numerous times to explain what we wanted to the waitress since she had some difficulty understanding. But we took that in stride and continued. So, was it worth losing a long time customer over a small chow mein? There are many Chinese American restaurants in the area. We will...

I’ve been eating here for over five years now, and I have to give them credit, they are remarkably consistent. Every time we visit, the food quality is the same: hot, fresh, and flavorful. I’ve personally never had a single quality issue, which says a lot (though of course, nobody’s perfect).
If you’re someone who loves eggs or bean sprouts in your fried rice, just a heads-up: their rice doesn’t include either. I do wish they added those, but honestly, I still enjoy it for what it is.
The sweet and sour chicken is absolutely perfect crispy, golden chicken pieces that are amazing to dunk in their addictively good sauce. The crab rangoons are always delicious and never burnt. They’re wrapped in a way that’s not overly bulky, so you could even pop one in your mouth whole (if that’s your style). And the egg rolls? They’re the best I’ve ever had. Period.
Excellent place, can’t get enough of Luke’s. Definitely stop by! (Sorry for the bad photo, we didn’t think to photograph it— just...
Read moreIf I could select no stars I would. My family and I drove 25 minutes to try this place out that looked good and had great reviews. I’ve never had such tasteless food. We ordered quite a bit of food and weren’t satisfied with anything but the house wings. When asked if we wanted to bring home all the leftovers because there was plenty of food leftover. We expressed that we didn’t enjoy it and had brought it to the attention of the waiter prior to the bill. They said I’m sorry and was it. We explained that lots of the meats were fatty and weren’t edible. We were told that’ll happen. Everything we brought to their attention they didn’t correct. They were very nice but wouldn’t correct or address anything that we didn’t like. Waste of time and our money! They don’t own up to any mistakes they make even when the kitchen puts the wrong food on the wrong plates they told us to switch the correct meats from our party. Poor attitude. Shouldn’t...
