Sorrento Restaurant & Banquet Hall — Restaurant in Warren

I've never been to the restaurant, but I went to my best friends wedding at the Banquet Hall I wish I had a more positive experience to give a better review, but unfortunately in this case it wasn't at all!! The service was awful, food was cold and bland, she ordered green beans, instead they gave her mixed veggies, which could have been miscommunication, but they weren't done at all, the bartender was rude, it seemed like every time I went to get a glass of wine, it was an inconvenience to him. The whole experience was horrible for her and many others at the reception. As we started cleaning up, it seemed as if the catering crew were rushing to get out. They were putting new table cloths on, and a younger family member that was trying to help me gather tablecloths and chair covers the Bride purchased, took a few of the new ones off not realizing the difference, got stared down by a grown man in a very pissed off way, obvious enough to the young family member noticed. He came up to me and apologized and explained that he was just trying to help me, I looked at the unprofessional worker and made sure he heard me say, "mistakes happen, it's no big deal you were just trying to help!" Called to see if I could schedule a walk thru for a future date for my wedding and was transferred to a man who was very rude. Now I completely understood when he said that the date I wanted to do the walk thru another event was happening. The issue was as soon as he picked up the line he was very short with me. He asked what needed when I proceeded to try to explain he over talked me, was basically like yea yea yea we are going to be busy that day and we are not letting anyone in. Never offered to see if another day or time would be good. My fiancé and I are from Warren but live in Columbus and would be there the whole weekend of Feb 10th and not leaving out till Mid afternoon on the 13th so something could of possibly worked out. We want to have our wedding in Warren because it's convenient for our families. It's ok though we were able to schedule walk thru at other places in Warren. The garden in the back is small but beautiful. The hall itself is outdated as well as with the bathrooms. There were no water cups or water pitchers on the tables, nor was there a beverage table. The only place to get a cup of water was to wait in line at the bar. I was not impressed at all with the food. Mixed veggies you can tell were just cheap frozen veggies that weren't cooked all the way. They ran out of white meat for the fried chicken, everything was bland. There wasn't even dessert. The staff was noisily tying to clean up as our event was in the middle of making presentations and speeches. Definetly a complete downgrade and complete disappointment compared to where we have held this event...
