Extremely poor handling of an employee error. I booked a party of 10 for a Saturday evening on the patio. I called 3 weeks in advance to make this reservation, then called and confirmed the day before. When my party and I arrived there was no table reserved and all patio tables were full. When I asked the host to find out what happened she very casually said they do not take reservations on evenings when there is a band. The manager then explained the same, that "they" "would not have taken" a reservation for that evening. I then pulled out my call log on my phone to show her that this happened, as she seemed as though she thought it was implausible. Rather then do what she could do to put the empty tables together to accommodate us she simply said "well we can't kick people out". Of course not, but I would assume since an employee made such as righteous error that they would've at least attempted to accommodate us. The manager did not, and seemed annoyed at the entire situation despite the fact that I was incredibly nice given the large inconvenience this was for myself and the party I was with. In this economy it blows my mind that a restaurant would not try to accommodate such a large party especially given it was an error / miscommunication on their end. Needless to say we went elsewhere; in short Shakers Bar & Grill was nothing short of amazing! The table near us who ordered after us received their food and left before our food was even close to done. The manager came out to talk to us to originally apologize for the long wait but then proceeded to give us attitude when we politely stated that we'd been waiting an hour. He went to get the ticket to prove that our order had in fact only been put in 35 minutes ago. We politely explained that the order may have been put in at that time but we had in fact ordered at 6:10 and it was now 7:10. He then continued with poor, argumentative attitude and stated "Well then see ya" indicating us to leave. He was very rude in the unprofessional manner in which he approached and argued with us. Our waitress appropriately and curteously apologized with sincerity for the inconvenience. The manager, however, was determined to prove a point rather than show any concern for our dissatisfaction, nor did he care how long we'd actually waited. He did not make any attempts at righting...

I tip 30% every time I go out and am an easy customer but holly cow the bartenders here just do not care. If youāre not one of the half dozen regulars they are going to be annoyed with your presence. Need silverware? Need another drink? Something wrong with your food? Well you better say something because the bartenders are NEVER going to ask if you need anything. Terrible service and a bad attitude doesnāt make a difference to them though, theyāre gonna sneak a 10% āconvenience feeā on your bill. Iāve come to this place a couple times a month for the last two years but every single time Iāve come here for the last 3 months Iāve left pissed off.
