El sabor de Mexico!

My wife and I have been here several times already and I'm finally taking the time to sit down and write a much deserved review. We both feel, that the city of Warrenton, is truly fortunate, to be selected as the location for this gem. As my title states, if you are looking for the true flavor of Mexico, you have got to patronize Casa Tequila Cantina & Grill. This is about as authentic as it gets. Every dish is freshly prepared to perfection and presented to 5 star quality. My wife and I try to sample something different each time and not once has there been a disappointment. The Top Shelf Margarita is the way to go. And the service is professionally proficient. Leo, the owner, is cordial and genuine. He walks the room, checks each and every table to make sure everything is okay and if anything else is needed. It does not get any better that this everyone. And just a note: For good authentic Mexican food, you might have to wait just a bit. As long as you have great Margarita's, great salsa and warm chips, the wait is nothing. If you expect your dinner to be served in 5 minutes, well, you're used to eating microwave. You aren't going to get that here. We wish Casa Tequila Cantina & Grill, continued success. We want you to be around for quite some time. And by the look of all the great reviews, you are heading in that...

Went on Saturday at 3:00 pm. to find a nice, clean restaurant. Our drinks, chips, and salsa came to our table quickly. The chips were fresh, thin, cooked to a golden brown and the salsa was very good, had just the right spice. My hubby got the Arroz Tequila and it was OUTSTANDINGLY delicious...the best we have ever had!! Unfortunately I cannot say that about my Beef Chimichanga it was HORRIBLE!!! First I noticed it wasn't served with the Pico de Gallo that was stated just chopped tomatoes. I asked our waiter which he didn't like me questioning & he said it's only with the chicken chimi. I noticed it smelled funny from the start (every restaurant has a different take on their food) I tried it anyway and it had a taste of rotten meat that you didn't have to chew the texture was like jello almost... disgusting!! I tried two bites thinking it was me & possibly the texture which isn't a thing for me but when the hubby tried and spit it out I knew it wasn't me. I was done, didn't eat another bite of my $12.50 meal...what a waste of $!!! Our waiter was busy cleaning tables, seating customers, running the register, and everything else but checking on us that we paid and left. VERY...

Casa Tequila is the best! My fiancé, baby and I go here just about every weekend. The food is fresh, flavorful and delicious. The margaritas are definitely the definition of perfect (the owner makes the most tasty piña colada margaritas)! The service is top tier. The owner is awesome and our two favorite waitresses are Maria (she’s now at the other location) and Carla. They all know our orders. They are all so friendly and spot on with great customer service. The girls love our eleven month old son and always make him smile and laugh. Very, very kid friendly and family oriented. Of course everyone else is just as awesome too. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun. We will always recommend Casa Tequila to anyone and everyone because it’s just hands down the best of the best!

Update; I’m sadly knocking off two stars because 06/04/2023 dinner time I ordered my usual steak fajitas & upon finishing my first few bites I discovered a dead, black bug in my lettuce that I just ate some of. Being pregnant and sharing my food with my toddler made it that much worse. I’ll be going...

FINALLY!!! My husband and I are major foodies; we drive to STL from Warrenton about 3 times a week -- always on the search for delicious and exciting food. We heard Casa Tequila was opening last week and frankly we didn't expect anything spectacular because so many new places seem promising but they're either bland or just not good. But 🤯wow🤯 were we blown away. Best carne asada street tacos I've ever had. The food was fresh, the meat was so tender and flavorful, the chips were still warm and the salsa had tons of flavor as well, not watery or prepackaged. The shrimp didn't taste fishy, it was actually fresh, and even their quality of rice was better than most we've tried. The place was very busy but the staff kept up gracefully with smiles on their faces; keeping our chips and salsa replenished without having to even ask (it's the little things 😁) The atmosphere was energetic, open and inviting. This will most definitely be our go-to spot for authentic Mexican cuisine. And it's so close to home, it's dangerous!

I been ask by friend to try this Mexican Restaurant myself being from mexico let me tell you why the one start because they destroyed one the more famous receipts of mexico the traditional Pork Carnitas they are not carnitas they should call it boiled then thrown in the deep fryer pork. I don’t really like to do reviews of restaurant but this place doesn’t even grill their chicken they boil their chicken or I believe from a can they throw it on the grill fir 5 second and call it grilled wow the owner of this place should learn the Mexican cuisine sorry if you no like my comment to the !!owner !!of this place i leave you the picture for the real recipe of carnitas. My wife asked For a skinny margarita as she was told there is no sweet n sour they squeeze limes guess what you get sweet n sour !!! Just Lies !! I will pay top dollar for the real deal and with tequila in it!! Sorry people if you like my comments you should travel to Quiroga mexico the capitol of the carnitas world

Holy moly! The reviews on this place are spot on! The food is SO GOOD, everything is fresh and well prepared. Service was good as well, our server checked on us numerous times and kept drinks refilled. I think what impressed me the most is the owner himself, Leo. He walked around, checking on everyone's tables and talking with customers. He swung by our table a couple times, just to make sure everything was good and that we didn't need anything, that's the sign of an owner that cares! We will DEFINITELY be back! Update: Definitely our new go to for Mexican! Service is great yet again, as well as the food! Everything is fresh and has good flavor, the margaritas are perfect! Owner again visited tables and had a presence in the dining room, this is a big deal to me, it shows he cares. The only downer is the lady that works the counter/register-she doesn't smile and isn't friendly at all, but the rest of the employees are awesome!
