We drove from Oregon and didn’t see any Laotian or Thai restaurants on our route so we were happy to see one here in Minnesota! My husband is from Thailand. His parents are from Vientiane, Laos and are all fluent in Laotian. We were able to visit with the Laotian family, get to know more about their story and when they came to America. We enjoyed the traditional Laotian food and experience. They have three tables on their deck for an outdoor dining experience. Seating inside is about three booths, a table for four and a few other small tables. Our waiter was the son and cook was the mom. Most people were getting takeout. There are many options on their menu. They serve pho here, some curry dishes, stir fry dishes, sticky rice, papaya salad and many appetizers.

Truly a great place to eat. The restaurant is very clean and the food is beyond fresh. It's easy to see that most diahes are made when ordered. You can also pick the spicy Ness level, so no need to be worried about being too spice. I ordered "spicy" level and it was perfect for me. My new favorite place! Feedback for the owners: the restaurant was cold, maybe because the kitchen door was open. Would also be a good idea to put up a sign that customers can see from the road.

I’m in absolute heaven. I’m up here for a hockey tournament and never expected to find a Laotian restaurant. I needed to find something different than bar food and this place did not disappoint. Pictured is the beef laarb. Medium spice. My mouth is watering from all the flavors. I’m going to go here on my way home back to southern MN. Great job to the owners for bringing authentic Lao cuisine to this community. 100% recommended!

We have a place right behind this restaurant. My wife absolutely loves the Pho they prepare here. It is a very generous sized portion (huge, actually), of which my wife can never finish. The other day we ate there and we were told they WOULD NOT give her a container to take her leftovers home. We eat here at least 3x/month and i was flabbergasted at the idea that we were unable to take home food WE HAD PAID FOR. The prices are quite high for what it is but some highlights like the Pho, Curry, Silver Noodles and spring rolls keep us coming back. The atmosphere is non-existent, and the service is lackluster at best. One thing to avoid is the Larb. It is essentially greasy hamburger meat served over some lettuce, NOT traditional Thai larb that i am accustomed to eating. However, if you're in the mood for Asian cuisine, they are the only decent choice in...

What a Treasure! Having a late supper this Wednesday, new in town and came across this place as we were driving around earlier today. We shared the chicken pad Thai and new menu item; curried fried rice (w/shrimp). Ordered the curried fried rice with a spice level of three and it had some good heat to it. My wife had only had Pad Thai from noodles restaurant previously and this is "so much better" in her humble opinion. One of the best Pad Thai I've ever had. Agreed that we would make this a regular stop when...
