Call me Karen but I for real for realâŚI donât care! If I could give this place NO STARS I would. We are passing through Kentucky en route south and decided to stay overnight. After we asked about delivery service to the location we were staying at, we were told snappy tomato was the only place that did. After placing my order, we were informed it would be one hour wait. We were fine with that seeing as though it was the only place to deliver and figured theyâd had a ton of other deliveries. After 1 hour and 15 minutes and two very hungry kids under the age of 9, I called back and was told they were waiting on their driver to get back. When asked how much longer, they werenât sure because they didnât know where the driver was and said it would probably take another 35-40 minutes! Annoyed at this point and not knowing the area, I asked her how far they were from our hotel. They were only 7-10 minutes away, so I informed her that my husband would be picking up our order instead and asked that she adjust our bill to remove the tip to which she agreedâŚthe kickerâŚ.ready for it??? She also said the food wouldnât be ready for another 25-30 minutes!!!!! I asked for the manager and she informed me she was the manager. I told her that we thought she was waiting for the driver (so she said) but the food wasnât even ready! In a not-so-kind tone, I told her weâd be there in 10 minutes and expected out food to be ready. When my husband arrived the food was ready. He again asked her to adjust our bill to remove the drover tip to which she stated she didnât know how to! Ha! What manager doesnât know how to remove a charge from a bill?? AnywayâŚto make all of this way over the topâŚwe didnât get all of our food! We also found out that about 2 -3 other families staying in the same hotel were also still waiting on their food! One waiting over two hours! Last and final call with Jazmine the manager didnât go very well AT ALL! I called to let her know that we didnât get all of our food. She asked what was missing and we informed her. She said âwell we donât know where it went because it was made!â Well miss âmanagerâ âŚitâs not in our possession, it would be safe to say, it wasnât made! I told her that I didnât believe she was the manager: -she never apologized for the delay or the messed up order. -she didnât bother calling to make us aware of a delay. -she didnât offer any suggestions to rectify the issue instead, in a very âsnappyâ tone said âWelll, I donât know what you want me to do!â -she didnât know how to remove a charge (driver tip)
She was told that she would need to now also remove the charge for that missing meal and that if the charges werenât removed, they would be reported to the BBB. I also told her that Iâd be calling to speak to the shop owner given her lack of ability to perform her job. To which she responded âsheâd tell him herselfâ. No way! If she couldnât get anything else right why was I going to trust sheâs get that right! Her response: âGO ahead!â Then hung up on me.
Letâs be clear ⌠It has nothing to do with the price of the food, it had everything to do with principle!
YeahâŚno recommendation ever for this place! Other than the recommendation that they change out their manager and maybe the name of their shop from Snappy Tomato Pizza to Sluggish...

I enjoy eating their hot Pizza's and Hoagies everytime I order one for delivery. Well for the first time I actually have a complaint about my service I received this morning. I called and ordered my Pizza and Hoagie at 10:36, everything was going well besides the woman on the phone taking my order being a little rude after I completed my order. The woman very rudely and with just a slight hint of sass stated that her driver wldnt be there until 11 an I wld not receive my delivery until 11:45. I can understand the driver arriving at 11 that's ok but why will it take another 45 mins for him to get to me. The only thing I can guess is they will not start cooking my food until the driver gets there. Why not have it ready and when the driver arrives give the order over and send them out the door.    Read moreWe are driving back up from vacation and ordered this because we were close. Very disappointed! Quoted 40-60 minutes for delivery when ordered online, you have no way to track your order. At 65 minutes I called to request an update, and they said the driver was on the way. Our location is 12 minutes from this restaurant, and so after another 30 minutes I called again. The lady I spoke to at the restaurant was rude and said that the driver was taking five deliveries at one time. When the driver came, he was driving dangerously fast and was extremely rude.
