I had Ordered a custom burger and cajun fries online. Wanted to add a drink to the order but for some reason the options bar wasnt responding properly. so I went to go pick up my food pulled up to the window asked if i could buy a drink separately the attendant told me i had to come inside for that which makes very little sense fine no problem... also that my food wasnt ready yet also fine no worries asked me to wait in the waiting spots in the lot and they would bring it out I did so. Eventually I got the notification that my food was ready now. Which I saw clear as day her grab the bag and put it on the shelf next to the window where they put the rest of the orders. I waited 5 minutes noone bothered to run it out. So I drove back out of the parking lot and back in which if you know that area that's 4 lanes of traffic nightmare to do so. I pulled back up to window she remembered me quickly reconfirmed my name and handed me the bag .this was my first time at this new location and i found all of what i just said very strange I have no problem waiting for my food but what's the issue with taking my money to ring in a drink ? Theres a register 3 ft away no doubt . And if you ask someone to pull off to the side or waiting spot like at McDonald's the order is supposed to be brought out to the vehicle. As far as the food goes limited menu but my burger was delicious and customized the way I wanted it however the cajun fries I recieved were halfway undercooked and not even fresh/hot . Which was surprising after all...
Read moreAs someone who worked here for about half a year, it was one of the worse working experiences I’ve had. To start, the $16.50 starting wage they market on the posters is a flat out lie. The manager, Derrick, is extremely unprofessional and doesn’t appreciate or respect his workers. Not to mention, VERY LAZY!! You think someone who does this for a living would take more pride in themselves and their work. Just read the review before me, only two girls were doing the work there. I bet if you walk into this place everyday you probably would only see Derrick monthly because he is never working on the line. The overall work environment is hostile. Not to mention the rats all around the building, they get bigger by the day. And with how disgusting the basement is, I wouldn’t be surprised if they had other, less apparent health issues. Sure, the food is good, it’s five guys after all. But I will never spend a dollar here again and will happily take the trip down to Quaker lane if I ever feel the need to order a five guys burger. If you’re an inconsistent customer or someone traveling, it’s still a good spot to eat, but if you want to support a good healthy work place, just take the trip to Quaker lane. A lot needs to be improved upon at this location, there’s a reason why the sales aren’t as high as they want them to be. I pray for all the employees there, and for the better of everyone in that place I hope it shuts down sooner rather...
Read moreUpdate again: this place makes the best fast food burger NOW. The three new workers today were phenomenal and I hope they get the credit their due. The manager was amazing ! You have to give credit where credit is due and this place has turned it around! Great job management. Love this Five Guys now. Keep up the great work. New team in picture. This one is struggling and not the best one around. Workers play around in the back, and I'm ok with it if you can STILL get the order right too!! But 2 times in a row, they can't. Should be easy. This is a burger place, right ? BUT it's difficult here. They also don't pour the extra amount of fries over into the bag that you are used to at other ones. Actually Five Guys tell you to do this since they are priced accordingly to do so. The manager is super nice, but you can tell that she is overwhelmed by the staff she has. It looks like they run the place. Would love, for 30 bucks, for 2 burgers and 1 fry, that you get it that mustard and tomatoes are NOT wanted on the burger when it is not ordered. Simple. I hope they get it together there. The manager is trying. Good...
