EDIT: After our last time in we haven't been back for a couple months, but we decided to give it a try one more time and the girls here today made us feel so welcome and actually apologized for what had happened i didn't even think they knew who we were nevermind being able to recognize us. This is the Lefavorite I know and came to love in first place. And the pastries are amazing as per usual ☺️

Let me start by saying I'm so upset to have to give them this rating I love this bakery I mean we got our wedding cake from this bakery and are always in here. But today at 12:45 my husband and I, who have been in multiple times, with his service dog where stopped at front door and refused service. The woman who stopped us said we weren't allowed in with his dog due to covid!!? As an original customer of this shop, (since they opened) I am sad to report it is going down the same road so many others have. While the bread is still among the best you can get, but the pastries are starting to drag them down. Over the past year, I have been disappointed at least 75% of the time with the pastries. They are keeping them too long, and they are selling stale goods to us at reg. prices. It is too bad, perhaps they are hurting financially, but doing this is a bad move. I have told them at least three times, and they apologize, but turn around and do it all over again. I don't know if this review will help snap them out of it, but I hope so. Antonio's on Warwick Ave. is more of a drive for me, but it is worth it to get fresh...

Might be the least expensive bakery in RI right now, crazy low prices!!!

Their huge cinnamon bun is only $2.50! I also got an oatmeal cranberry raisin butterscotch cookie for $1.85. It was very large, but thin. Not how I prefer my cookies but it was good with a homemade warmth to it.

My favorite dessert I got was a peach crisp danish-like item for $1.95. It had nice flaky layers, was large for the price and the peach filling was perfect.

My only gripe was the cinnamon bun was too dry. Only the very middle was moist, it needed more butter throughout.

They have tons of desserts and full sized cakes for all under $28....
