This McDonald's in Warwick is probably the worst. The order accuracy is consistently poor, with missing items and long wait times at the drive-thru, even during off-peak hours. During one visit, my son's cheeseburger arrived without any meat. When I went back to speak to a manager about this issue, a manager on the night shift, who appeared to be a teenager or young adult, argued with me instead of resolving the situation. He was not wearing any name tags that I could see, and he refused to give me his name when I asked after he was of no help at all. He was very rude and unempathetic to the fact that the cheeseburger was for my child, who was visibly upset by then, as he was looking forward to having McDonald's for dinner. This lack of professionalism and empathy was disheartening, especially considering the circumstances. Customer service is pivotal, and every interaction should be respectful and understanding, irrespective of the challenges of a fast-food setting. While I do not agree with the customer always being right, sadly, it most certainly isn't the case at all times. However, I do believe there is a way to speak to somebody and handle a situation, and his way was just not appropriate. As somebody in any kind of management role should know and be trained on how to treat others in a professional manner at all times. After all, your employees' work quality and work ethics are reflective of your own...
Read moreThis location of McDonald’s at one time was the best in the city if not the state. The food is ok but below what it should be for fast food. This location is so focused on order from home deliveries that you can expect a wait whether order in store or drive thru. The drive thru seems ridiculous as you can expect a wait time of at least 10 mins. I’ve waited 15 from being in line to actually receiving food. I remember when this location was being built as I could hear the power tools operating from school which was up the road. Today the building is painted in a dark gray, it’s depressing to see. Whoever chose the exterior colors are either color blind or out of the loop on how to attract customers. There used to be a playground for the kids out front but is gone & all that remains is a gigantic rusty slap of decades old concrete slab. This location has much more potential. I’m just being honest & take no pleasure...
Read moreI live nearby and have been here many times. These are my pros and cons.
Pros: always courteous and never rude, they typically get my orders right, exterior is never messy.
Cons: more expensive than typical mcdonalds across the entire menu, extremely long drive thru lines (even off peak), food is rarely fresh, dining room is consistently dirty, employees seem more concerned with fraternizing that getting orders out promptly and correctly.
These problems have persisted for the 7 years that I have lived nearby. This tell me that ownership, and management, are unconcerned with the obvious deficiencies that are present in this establishment. It appears that instead of reassessing their operations and fixing the issues that are present they instead have passed the costs to the local consumer. I recommend burger King...
