Thought we would try this place as I’ve gone to the other Indian restaurant across the highway several times and liked it, but wanted to try something different. This place was a little food truck on the side of the gas station so seating was at a picnic table in the shade, looking out on the diesel trucks fueling up, which was kinda interesting in itself. We loved the chapati, which was our first time having which is like a thick, fresh homemade tortilla, I tried a filled tortilla like bread called paratha for the first time with potatoes. It was really good and a little spicier than I expected but I liked it. Aloo gobi was delicious and freshly made. The mango lassi’s were a little thinner and less sweet than we are used to, but three of four of us like them a lot. Samosas were crunchy and flavorful and fresh. My kids and husband like them. They came with a tamarind type dipping sauce. We also ordered some chai. We would totally go back and maybe order less food as a little bit...

The food is too awesome. We were traveling from SFO to Las Angeles. I went to this place reading the reviews thinking to try this dhaba in the US. This is the food truck. Initially I thought food would be good by the look and all. But when I tasted the food it was really yummy. This is really a hidden gem.
We tried roti, mixed veg paratha, veg curry and kadai chicken masala. The paratha was well balanced with the veggies. I would feel the taste of Gobi paneer. It was really soft and yummy... I never had such paratha in the US. The kadai chicken is also delicious.
If it was near our home I would have visited every month.
I would recommend everyone to try their paratha and chicken kadai.. I haven't tried masala chai since I was full. But I could say that it would...
Read moreDelicious indian fresh food midway SF-LA on I5. Coming from LA it's exit 46. It has excellent spread of both vegetarian and non-veg dishes. We fell in love with alloo and mixed (alloo+paneer) paranthas made fresh in front of you. We also tried yummy authentic Punjabi kadi. The chili paneer was also made fresh, liked it. Salted lassi, chai, were good. Chai is too sweet. mango lassi can be avoided. Aachar served along is yummm... We stopped each way. And will stop by again each time I make the SF-LA road trip. And BTW paranthas are jumbo size and portions are good sized. Food is generally on higher side of salt to my taste. I blended it...
