This place rules!! My wife and I are vegan and she is also gluten free, so our pizzas around town tend to be a little sad. GF crust usually makes hard, overly crispy, skinny, and small pizzas. The crust here is the BEST GF crust we've ever tasted. It's big, it's fluffy and perfectly crispy, it's delicious, AND it is vegan!! That can be another issue we face. We've gotten their pizza with out cheese and it is still SO good. We are hoping for some sort of vegan cheese one day, but the cheese-less is treating us well. Their specials are fun, their drink selections are perfect, and their salads are delicious!! It is so great to order a salad that is actually worthwhile. They're huge, they come with great and fresh toppings, and are perfectly dressed. This place clearly takes pride in using the best ingredients they can, coming up with fun and unique pizzas, offering a cozy and cool place (check out their walls!), and making their food GREAT. I could go on, but I couldn't recommend this place more and I can't even try half of their stuff lol.

This wood fired pizza is a solid 8/10 when it stands up against any pizza anywhere. For a pizza joint in Washburn WI...we are privileged to have such awesome pizza in northern WI. I had to get the margarita pizza to truly taste the authenticity, and it didn't disappoint. The hot honey peperoni was as described but underwhelming for some reason. My wife had gluten-free pistachio and arugula pizzas, and they were certainly unique but not "pizza" in my book. The gluten-free crust, however...it is a show stopper if you are gluten conscious. However, for those of you with celiac disease... I wouldn't recommend it. We will sadly not be back because my wife does have celiacs disease and has fallen I'll 3/3 times. There is some serious cross-contamination happening. This place is worth the stop if you happen to be in town during their short business hours!

Wonderful local gem, Some of the best wood fired pizza I've had in a while, with some unique toppings choices that ultimately work together beautifully. I had and loved both a daily special with sausage, pesto, hot peppers, onions and chevre cheese. And also the pistachio, onion, gorgonzola, Parmesan and rosemary pizza which was excellent!

Fantastic wood fired pizza!! We were in the area visiting the Apostle Islands and couldn't figure out what to eat for dinner. After looking through places to eat, we stumbled across Lyla's! Pizza always sounds good, but is it the real deal here, and is worth a drive? YES! We got three pizzas in total, and each one was just as delicious as the other! We had their special of the day, which was their homemade pizza sauce, basil, garlic, mozz, and parmesan. We also got the Jerk Chicken pizza and the Hot Pepperoni pizza. All three pizzas were absolutely delicious! Great char on the crust, which is light, airy, and has a perfect crisp biting into it! The dough is fresh, the sauce is fresh, and the toppings are all great! We were blown away at how good all of their pizzas are! You HAVE TO check this place out if you're hungry, in the mood for great pizza, or are just tired of the generic frozen/chain pizza places! One more thing, they have gluten-free crust available as well! And no, it's not just a piece of frozen cardboard from the factory, it is just as crispy and fresh as their other dough! We had the special of the day pizza on their gluten-free crust, so I am speaking from experience. Do not let gluten intolerance steer you away from enjoying a delicious pizza here!!

Also, don't let the ongoing construction on HWY 13 "make or break" your decision to eat here. There are plenty of places to park behind Lyla's with a very short walk. They have a nice little patio with restaurant access directly from their patio. There is no need to worry about going through the front door while the construction...
