Kung Fu Tea — Restaurant in Washington Township

I’ve been to the Kung Fu Tea in Turnersville, NJ twice now. It’s not a bad location — the staff has been friendly both times, and the space is larger than the one I go to in Philly, with more seating available. I like that they even have some board games you can play while you hang out, which is a nice touch.

It’s reasonably priced, and I appreciate having a location closer to me. However, compared to the one I go to in Philly, the menu here feels more limited. That was a little disappointing since I was hoping for some of the items I usually order, but that’s not really the staff’s fault.

Experienced bad service from 2 employees today, right before closing. I made it clear I was leaving and was throwing away my trash, when I asked the employees if I could go to the bathroom quickly to grab a paper towel. All I got an exasperated nod and then I heard giggling between the two workers during the few seconds I was in the restroom. When I confronted the cashier about this, she did not apologize. If you can't handle a paying customer leaving a minute after closing time, you do not belong in customer service. No amount of overpriced and mediocre drinks can justify...
