Taste: Plant Based — Restaurant in Washington Township

Taste is a "take out" spot for pre-made fresh and frozen vegan entrees and sides. (Also available are vegan snacks, spices and vegan jerky brought in from a vendor). The entrees and sides are all homemade, FRESH. They have cold drinks as well. This spot is legit. Taste is so convenient, and everything is priced right where it should. Convenient to route 42 and Black Horse Pike, and the A.C.Expressway. We load up on meals for our shore trips. Located next to Aversas for your rolls. The man working there is on point! I visited Taste for the first time over the weekend to purchase an assortment of items to try. Joe could not have been nicer & spent time talking with me about his products and about vegan plant based recipes in general. I have really enjoyed everything that I have tried so far! My favorites are the lentil & black bean soup, the tomato cashew soup (soooo good!!), the buffalo chickpea salad and the stuffed peppers (amazing!!). I have also loved not needing to cook as much this week as the dishes I purchased have been enjoyed for some dinners & lunches! I look forward to supporting & watching this...

Hearty, flavorful, and classically comforting vegan dishes conveniently portioned and packaged for those days when you just can't get into the kitchen. It also gives me peace of mind that the recipes are crafted by someone with a background/degree in nutrition. The food tastes healthy but in a good way--balanced and filling yet without giving that sluggish feeling.
