The place is nice. What made me leave is the overbearing staff. My sister and I went in to browse and possibly pick up a pair of jeans for her. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and asked what we were looking for. We politely responded we were just browsing. As soon as we started looking at jeans we were again approached by the same staff member to recommend things. Ok fine. We again just said we were browsing. Not even a minute later another staff member came up to basically say the same thing. At this point we split up in the store where i was again bothered by the first member and my sister was talked to by the second, who stated the same thing over again not realizing they just spoke. This all happened in a 10 minute span. My sister really wanted to buy jeans but the overbearing staff made us leave. I worked in retail and understand the whole helping attitude but this was way over the top and made us extremely uncomfortable. Read moreAs a non-jean girl, I was hesitant but hopeful when someone suggested I try AE jeans. I went in and got a few pairs I thought might fit, but sadly none did. I was walking out of the fitting room when all of a sudden CiCi appears as if she was a friend I was shopping with. She listened to what I said didnt fit, and then had me wait by the fitting room while she grabbed the pair she thought might work. Funny enough, they did. Sadly the perfect size wasnt in store so I ordered online, and got another pair while I was at it because CiCi was so passionate about how these jeans would fit. I got the jeans, one pair didnt fit so I drove back, 20 minutes, past 2 other AE's in hopes that CiCi would be there, and thankfully she was. She exchanged me for another pair to be delivered to my place seamlessly, but not before I made sure to tell her how impactful her help, and her positive, friendly, welcoming energy was that day. Read moreWhile I was shopping, I noticed that two of the staff members kept staring at me the entire time. One of them, in particular, wouldn’t stop looking, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I was just trying to shop peacefully with my husband and kids, but their behavior felt intrusive and unsettling.
Later, one of them approached me and asked if I needed help with sizes, which would normally be appreciated, but her tone and attitude came off as rude rather than helpful. I was already feeling uncomfortable, and her approach just added to that.
