Located in historic Fort Ritchie in Highland Cascade, Maryland, why not enjoy a diverse food menu while you sit in the midst of the site of MITC (Military Intelligence Training Center) or Camp Ritchie as most people are familiar with. You will be sitting in the home of Robert F. Barrick, a self-taught, determined patriot with only a 7th grade education, designed and built Fort Ritchie in 1926. Barrick served as the post engineer and superintendent from Ritchie's inception through World War II 20,000+ soldiers attended the Camp, many of which served overseas in Army intelligence securing 60% of all actionable intelligence during WWII. Come visit, have a bite and drink and feel free to explore the grounds and visit the Camp Ritchie...

I love finding places like this while traveling! Real food from lovely people. The drinks were fantastic, recommend hot chocolate on a cold rainy day! The sitting and dining areas are all super cozy and clean. I can't say enough about the women that were running The Greenhouse Cafe, they were all so super friendly and made/served the food deliciously fast! Finally, I have to give a huge shout out to the young lady who took our food order (we were the couple from Indianapolis btw), she was so genuine... greeted us warmly as soon as we walked in, and hooked me up with her recommendation on the Salted Carmel Banana Waffle. She made the whole...

First time at the Greenhouse Cafe highly recommended by a friend who took me there. Tried the iced sunflower drink, it was SO good.. probably my favorite drink I’ve had all summer. I was concerned it would be too sweet, not at all. I hope this is a standard on their menu. Enjoyed the pesto panini for lunch. The atmosphere and aesthetic was so calm and peaceful inside and out. I really enjoyed my time here. The workers were so friendly and helpful. Kaylee was a true joy and made that yummy drink with such love. Thank you can’t wait to return and share with more...

I don’t often leave reviews, but I HAD to leave one for this adorable little cafe! The owner was incredibly kind, was attentive, patient, and overall fantastic! The chai latte with oat milk was the BEST chai I’ve ever had. I’m a frequent coffee shop and cafe attendee when I travel and if you find yourself anywhere near Fort Ritchie you must stop at the place! 10/10 recommend! Will be back the next time I’m in town for sure!l seriously best part of my trip.
