The staff is courteous and graceful. Always have a smile on their face. I have an issue with how BigFoot is running their business. Partner and I pull up and order. We try to pay with cash. "We can't accept cash as payment but I can run it as a gift card and give you your change back."
Aggravating. We hand her 20 dollars and only had a few ones left. Then we wanted to tip because big foot can't provide enough compensation. And of course they accept cash tips. And THEY SHOULD. But the owner will be sipping drinks ok the beach off the hard work of these women.
"Don't accept cash" what happens when a elderly person pulls in and you tell then that? Why is this acceptable?
Cash has been standard for years. Pay to properly store it safely and don't use security as an excuse when you can't provide a livable wage for your workers.
In recent years you started making hot food. That's alot of money on the installation and service of ovens and toasters. Instead in investing in more products invest in providing the basics to your customers.
Drinks are pretty good. But until they bring back cash payments I would go somewhere else. The AM PM has an iced coffee that is just as good of not better for half the price and you can...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI asked for a cup of water to go with my $7 drink. They said they couldnāt give me a glass of ice water. I asked for a bottled water and they were out. Then they said that they couldnāt give me a water with ice. I asked if I could then be charged for a coffee and given an ice water and they said no. āAs a matter of policy.ā Am I to conclude that their water isnāt potable? Because the only other logical conclusion is that they are just choosing to be in inhospitable. Iāve ALWAYS been given excellent service at BFJ. For years. Tonight, Youāve lost a customer BFJ. What you did was not only embarrassing, but also dehumanizing. I would gladly pay for the cup, the ice, heck the whole monthly water bill. And you refused to give me something so simple and just plain decent. My jaw is stuck to the floor: If I owned this location, everyone would be looking for a new place of employment after the way they treated a loyal, paying customer. Gravity is much better anyway, Im sure they will have a location next door soon, anyway and better believe Iāll be the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe go to this location quite often, but lately it seems this location has had a lot of turnover and not enough training for the baristas. We went tonight and ordered a quad mocha and a Lavender/Vanilla London Fog Tea. The gal working looked at me and asked what a quad mocha was, once we told her it was a 4 shot mocha she was able to make it. I didn't check my drink until we had driven away and my tea was actually an iced mocha with Lavender. We turned around and went back and she apologized for making the wrong drink and I explained that a London fog is earl gray tea with milk, she used the iced tea that was pre-made and had me taste the drink. It was close enough for me, so we left. I thank her for being honest that she was new and didn't know how to make the drinks, but in my opinion she shouldn't be working by herself if she isn't fully trained in all the drink options you have. Please provide more training for your baristas, we love supporting Bigfoot Java and especially this location at...
