Dexter's Drive-In — Restaurant in Washington

Don't waste your time or money here. After standing in line for 5 minutes with 1 customer in front of me, I was ignored and service was granted to a new customer who had just walked up to the window.

After placing my order of a Shrimp Burger and Salmon Burger, I was told the wait time would be 15 minutes. Thirty minutes later, I finally received my order which was repeated back to me correctly from the lady at the counter.

When I arrived home, I was displeased to see I received two Salmon burgers. Not only was that frustrating but it was by far the most foul "Salmon Burger" I had ever seen. See the picture below. I should have trusted my gut and thrown it away but unfortunately I ate half of the Burger and was even more displeased. I had to stop when the middle of the patty wasn't even luke warm. Not to mention it tasted like what I would imagine a spawned rotten chum would taste like that you would find near the bridge of Minter Creek.

After calling twice and being hung up on both times, the lady finally answered after the 3rd time. Third times a charm ammirite? Wrong. When explaining my experience and asking how they would make it right, she acted like she was incoherent and handed the phone to the younger kid working behind the counter at the time. After repeating myself to him multiple times, he offered for me to come back for the correct order. I would rather have my refund.. which I would still have to drive back to receive even tho the order was placed on a card. He took my number and said the owner would be calling me shortly. I knew I wouldn't ever hear back from them.

Trust me when I say this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever encountered.

I'm surprised the health department hasn't shut this place down. And I wouldn't be surprised if they they see them sometime soon. Dexter's...

Wow. How did this place get decent ratings at all? I’m a frequent visitor of the local boys craft beer tap room across the lot and decided to give this place a shot based on the mostly decent reviews. Ordered an avocado burger with bacon which is a regular cheeseburger plus avocado and jalapeños, plus I requested the add on of bacon. Took around 15 minutes for me to get my order which seems like a long time to me when they weren’t exceptionally busy, as well as for a fast food burger. Got my order home and all I got was a basic cheeseburger. Not even an avocado burger, nevermind the bacon, just a basic cheeseburger. Took my food back and asked for a refund. Didn’t want any other food. Can’t trust a place that can’t get even get close to my order and cares so little. Won’t come back. If I could give 0...

It tool a few minutes longer than I expected, but it was fresh, hot, and delicious, and not pulled out of a drawer and premade like most fast food joints, so I was pretty satisfied. I got the double dexter with bacon. Not the best burger I've had, but miles ahead of McDonald's, burger king, Jack in the box, and any other fast food joint you can think of. Location is small, but I'd recommend this establishment to people as a good lunch time spot. Plus the milkshakes are pretty bomb too.

Edit: Today I drove 45 minutes to get here, since the close at 7. Pulled in at 6:28 to be told they were closing early at 630, and the only waring of that was a hand written note on the door. So an hour and a half drive with no food to show for it. Not...
