started working at dominos 2 weeks ago, it was alright but i was never trained at all. i went to the orientations learned a little and basically the first day i was on my own to work, i didnt know a thing. The co workers i was working with, theyve were very rude to me, when it comes to calling because i wasnt very comfortable with it and i was cool with 2 of the co workers, and he told me that they were basically saying i didnt wanna do my job, or i was lazy. three days ago, i was working and i made a mistaked with someones address and number and one of the manager Amy had came up to me with very disrespect saying i shouldnt do calls, and we would practice, so i did that and i went to go help upfront and there were like 3 customers, i helped 2 and these two people wanted to order but i assumed that the other worker would be helping them, i got side tracked and walked to do sides, but the manager girl was taking up alot of space in the front desk and tagging boxes, so i tried to squeeze through but i ended up bumping into her because she had moved and rudely she was like "you know what just go home" so i did and yesterday i was working and i was getting more comfortable with phones so i did them and also helping makelines which they make sides (bread twist, parm bites) and pizza and i was making a pan pizza and she stopped me and told me the mistake i had made with $50 being to much for delivery to do cash. because our drivers arent allowed to hold more than $20, and if its higher than that its credit and explaining that she basically lost $50 and told me not to do calls yesterday to train more, and i told her i didnt mean to basically mess up, i didnt know that was the policy, and i did the calls because i didnt wanna rush or frustrate anyone, one of the managers had asked me to do calls when the phone rang. so as i said those things she told me "you can go home and youre fired". as i was walking to clock out, i was calling to be picked up and she was yelling at me to clock out first. She was basically very very disrespect to me. dominos was actually my first job too. her name is Amy. I reccommend not working their because people are very disrespectful to the new people, lack of respect and lack of training. I dont want any other person to have to go through the struggle of disrespect. I dont know how to complain about it, because she has been rude to other co workers, and specifically customers, after the situation of being fired, two customers were in the store waiting for the pizza's and shows very lack of respect for...
Read more2nd UPDATE: I received an email a few days back regarding this and was helped by the GM. This was the most helpful person in the last month. Issues weren't able to be resolved but they were helpful in correcting it in other ways. For the GM himself, this service was 5 stars and I placed another order this evening that went well and the pizza looks great. For this, I've bumped the rating from 2.
UPDATE a few days after the original review: Still no response from the email I've sent to the email they provided in this reviews response regarding this issue. So as of now, once again, there's no help even though the response to this review makes it seem as if they are trying.
This location is the closest to my home. Most of the time I order on the app and then pick up in person. Sometimes I pay cash when I get there. The food is decent, occasionally the pizza is half air bubbles and no cheese on way too much of it, but other times it's good. This review is for the last order I placed and I'm not sure I'll order from them again. I placed an order through the app, went to the location, paid cash, took my food home and THEN received a notification that my order was cancelled. That of course means the points that take long enough to earn were being taken back. I screenshotted some things just in case and then realized a few days later, that yep my points were reversed. No one at the office even cared, and Dominos does not have a phone number to call. I've emailed 4 separate times over this last month with no response at all. My biggest 'concern' is that someone had to have deliberately gone back and cancelled just the CASH orders that reverse the points, because if they had cancelled an order paid by card that would naturally then be refunded if in fact the order was truly cancelled. But I already ate food long before that, so what exactly is the reason for an employee to go back and cancel my order knowing full well they'd cancel my rewards? At the end of this review, the food is alright, but something just doesn't sit right with this and how no one even bothered to give me an answer as to why they would cancel an order that was PICKED UP ON CAMERA AND PAID FOR AN HOUR EARLIER. And not rven an attempt to make it...
Read moreRecieved terrible service on 12/9. Had ordered my pizza online, it said the carryout would take 40 minutes, no big deal. Ran to Fredmeyers to grab a couple things then went to grab my order from Dominos. Well I walk in and see a man irritated on the couch I am assuming hes been waiting for his order for awhile. Dominos was indeed busy with their orders, but their service and attitude was terrible. I stood at the counter for five minutes before anyone said a single word to me. Mind you every person in there had looked at me and knew I was waiting. Finally a young man helps me and was very friendly(he was on the phone when I got there so I understand why he did not acknowledge me, the rest of the staff there is absolutely no excuse). After I finally cashed out with the young man I still had to wait an additional 15 minutes. I then went over to their pizza screen to find out how much longer for my order, it had said ready so I went over to the counter and asked if my order was ready as it appeared on the screen. A white heavily tatted women with short hair screamed "We are boxing up pizzas as fast as we can" first of all thats not what I asked, second I did not need an attitude from her as well. If that was the shift manager then I feel bad for this establishment because her attitude was TERRIBLE. I will never come to this establishment again, I will stick to the one in Parkland, service is better and much nicer. Not to mention when I finally did get my pizzas and headed towards the door, some guy came running after me asking if I had paid, after I said yes he looked confused, I then asked if he wanted to see my receipt, he then said no and walked away. What a HUGE TURN OFF FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT, Why in the world would I get two pizzas and not pay after waiting for damn near thirty minutes? Contacted the establishment through their survey and still have received no response. This specific location needs better trained employees...
