Farm & Sea Grill — Restaurant in Washington

So the reason I gave a three star for the service is because I had ordered chicken strips and fries for take out and I saw the gal look at the food before giving it to me. Otherwise placing the order was easy and she was pleasant

I regret not taking a picture.

As soon as I opened the container, (after driving home) I knew the strips were MASSIVELY over-cooked. Super dark and to top it off, one had been cut in half.....making it extra extra dry - maybe an inexperienced cook thinking my food needed to be extra absorbent?? These are not bounty paper towels guys!!

I don't know, but they we absolutely inedible.

The dinner salad was nice spring greens with tomatoes and such, but the thousand island tasted strange. Not like it was bad, I just didn't care for the extra tangy, extra oniony flavor. Tartar was the same way.

Fries were fresh and cooked correctly. Soft enough to moisten the cardboard chicken. I tell ya, Little Nikki would not have thought this food was effing aweshome, that's for sure.

I was surprised because I've eaten there before and had decent enough food.

I'm told there might be a new owner?

I figure I'll go back in a month or so and try again. See if they've...

My husband and I went here yesterday and it was our first time. This spot clearly made a great impression on us because we’re still talking about how great it was, and how we can’t wait to go back! I had the fish tacos with fried halibut and he had the bacon burger with cheese curds, and onion rings. We left our plates empty, meaning the portions PERFECT and the structural integrity of our tacos and burger held up the entire way. Just a single bite into both entrees and we knew there was someone very talented in the kitchen. To top it off, prices were very reasonable, beer selection was good, and service was spectacular. We live in Port Townsend and have struggled to find a fish and chips or burger spot we really liked… now we have it! Thank you Farm...

5/11/24 Three of us went for lunch today. We were greeted and welcomed as we entered the restaurant. We were able to sit where we chose. Sarah, our waitress, was very friendly, immediately bringing waters and menus to our table. She said she’d be back to take our orders when we were ready. She never stopped moving , tending to several other patrons as well! Sarah returned to take our order, answered a question or two, and was able to fill a couple substitution requests. Her pleasant personality made us feel very comfortable, making dinner very enjoyable! And the food was delicious! Eat here if you’re looking for good seafood and pleasant service!!
