No other way to say it…this place is AWESOME! Great food, great people, great service…always. World Famous burger or Friday Night Fish & Chips and everything in between…you can’t go wrong. Unless you want a couple cold Yellow jackets…seems to be a shortage right now hahaha! Yeah, it’s cash only. Quit whining and hit the ATM. Yup, it’s a tavern, so leave the kiddos at home. Do NOT order the "tamales" as you will get a pile of cheese, onions, a couple of jalapenos, and who knows what little else. When it was served, I asked if "this was a tamale?". And reassured it was. This dish resembles a melted sick cow patty, there is no tamale in sight. Not even close. Bonus: this mess is served on a piece of tin foil after having been baked to death in a toaster over. Rude people work here, and you can tell they know that theyre being rude to you. The only reason why they are getting high reviews is because they have a loyal following by the locals. I used to be a local near the town, and Ive been around enough businesses in Port Townsend and Port Hadlock to know which businesses are local based and which are tourist and "everyone else based".
