HEADS UP: Their gluten-free fryer may or may not be available. The last time I was there (May), the gluten-free fryer was back. The few times I stopped by in March & April (2023), they only had one fryer, and it was being used to cook glutinous items. When this is the case, they're still able to cook you up a super yummy gluten-free burger but without the fries.
Whidbey has very few places that truly cater to Celiacs, and this is one of those places. Lots of places offer gluten-free buns, but these guys have a separate gluten-free, dedicated fryer, making their yummy fries an option, too. Read moreThis is the place to stop in summer when you need a bite on a sunny day but is also great any other time you have a craving. I've been known to stop here solely for the seasonal soft serve ice cream which I wish was year round! There are plenty of good burger options including a black bean veggies burger and wings and people love the loaded fries. We haven't tried the breakfast options yet but plan on it. It's a roadside spot, so no indoor seating; but they do have plenty of outdoor benches to sit on. All the burgers are on Brioche bread, so the buns are great.
