We have been here multiple times over the last several years and it has gone incredibly down hill. The food used to be amazing, the atmosphere was pretty unique, and the beers were decent. However, this time was pretty much the last straw. We had a large group with multiple people complaining of the food being lackluster/burnt/extremely greasy. The pizzas were in a pool of grease and half burnt, and were scant on the toppings for their Reuben pizza. The "pulled pork" sandwich was cubed pork with extremely minimal fixings. Another sandwich has the two smallest pieces of bacon I've ever seen squished onto only half of the sandwich, so that it was practically just a roll with a slice of avocado. Their "flagship" IPA was not available at the time, so they chose to substitute with a far superior brewery's IPA (Fortside Brewing). The basketball game only had one basketball left, which for some reason they have decided to put the game right next to a large fire box that has been sealed off, and no other balls can be retrieved from when they happen to go over the wall. By the time we left, there officially were no more basketballs to be used for the game. I'm pretty sure you can add a netting or something to prevent that from happening. OR! Better idea, Don't put the game next to a box that you can't get into where balls disappear into a black hole!
We also have had the same waitress numerous times, and we feel as if she constantly has a bad day and gets increasingly more frustrated and abrasive every time we go.
One of the past times we brought our parents there to try, they were impressed with the pizza, but we were essentially shoo-ed away to use the table for more people because they didn't place enough "reserved" signs on the tables. After we had spent well over $150 on food and drinks.
If I want to spend $30 on pizza, I would much rather choose Crust Collective on the waterfront with ABSOLUTELY delicious beers.
I know they have a loyal following and trivia night, but I highly recommend going a few minutes further down the road to Barrel Mountain Brewing or Victor 23 for far superior beers and pizza, and you'll probably...
Read moreBest Ruben I've ever had. I wish I had gotten the full size. Next time I'll ask for extra kraut. The tacos were unfortunately very bland. Missing spice and heat. The meat was cooked properly and the size was right. A little wet though for 1 tortilla. I had iced tea and I wish it was 5 times stronger and that I had been offered a refill. QR ordering from table. Not my favorite because I have a lot of food restrictions, and I don't understand the lack of customer interaction. I'm a bartender so I get it though. It's convenient. That being said, for me it's hard to give the customary 25% tip because, well... for what exactly? I tipped 20% and for the experience that was a lot. The bartender was not too chatty but nice enough. I would have liked 1 check it to see how the food was. Atmosphere was very chill on a weekday afternoon which is exciting for me. There were 6 or 7 mid age men. I was the only female, besides the one in the kitchen. She has a beautiful blue tiled wood fired pizza oven. That's pretty cool. There are Tv's with sports and various other things. I saw a huge projector screen on one wall. I'm looking forward to a nice chill weekday spot to play games. They have a pool table, corn hole, shuffleboard, hoops and board games. All indoors! They have trivia on Thursdays. I didn't see any signage about who puts it on so maybe self ran? It's got a bit of a pole barn feel inside but not cheap. There are regular dining tables and a lot of tall tables. I opted for the regular ones because I have short legs and they fall asleep. They only have tall tables near the games. The high ceilings were helpful in creating an open space. It's bright inside and they have outdoor seating. It's a parking lot so don't expect a view. The bathroom was my least favorite part and from the looks of the plastic sheeting for walls, it may be... I hope it is, under construction. They close relatively early so I don't imagine it gets too rowdy. I'm looking forward...

The food here is a standout—always fast and impressively consistent. Whether you’re digging into their handcrafted pizzas or a hearty sandwich, you can count on your order arriving quickly and tasting just as good as the last visit. I particularly appreciate their attention to detail; every time I’ve asked for a fork, the staff happily provides one without hesitation, making dining a breeze.
The staff is genuinely friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming vibe that keeps me coming back. A special shoutout goes to bar manager Dan, along with Kami, Bri, and Eliana, whose awesome service makes every visit memorable. They’re knowledgeable about the extensive beer menu, which features a rotating selection of high-quality craft brews like the crisp 5K IPA or the unique Chasing Fluffy Pink Unicorns Gose. Their willingness to let you sample beers before committing is a nice touch.
The taproom’s light industrial ambiance, complete with tall ceilings, games for kids, and a dog-friendly patio, adds to the charm. It’s a great spot for families or groups, with activities like music bingo and trivia nights adding to the fun. While some reviews mention the pizza crust being a bit tough, I’ve always found the food to be satisfying, especially paired with their award-winning beers.
Overall, Ghost Runners delivers a fantastic experience with quick, reliable food, a stellar beer lineup, and a staff that goes the extra mile. Highly recommend for anyone in Vancouver looking for a lively,...
