Food 4.5/5 Service 2/5 Drinks 2/5 Value 2/5

Went here on a Thursday evening about 6pm. No greeting as we walked in, I had to ask if we just sit wherever. Ok if there weren't three staff leaning behind the bar. There were two other couples at the bar and one table of three.

Server brought us waters and menus. Took a while but came back to take our drink order. They informed we they were out of grapefruit juice after I ordered a drink, which knocked a few options off the menu. I ended up settling for one of the few remaining choices. It was an alright drink, nothing amazing. Maybe now I should mention how there are no prices on the drink menu, and this cocktail I settled on after they didn't have the ingredients for my first choice was $18 for a maybe 10oz cocktail. This was not an $18 drink.

After a while they came to take our food order. I asked for a recommendation and they quickly provided one. Took our order back to the kitchen and the wait started. I didn't time it but we were easily over 20 minutes for our two entrees, probably close to 30. When the food finally came out one plate came out about 5 minutes before tho other.

Now credit where credit is due. The food was great. All of it. Temperature was good, flavor, seasoning, tenderness, all top notch. Not at all upset with the food.

When were finally ready to leave and ask for the check, the total surprised me. I asked how much the drinks were and was surprised at the price, didn't think to hard and signed the receipt. Walking back after dinner and doing the math in my head I realized the bill is still $10 more than it should've been. Maybe they automatically add a tip, but a $10 tip on a $40 tab and still asking for a tip when paying? Idk.

I won't go back. I wouldn't tell others not too, but don't get cocktails and check your bill carefully...

We HAD A BLAST! Buckle up for the details. So, with only a mere couple week's notice, my wife (I pray that she's not reading this) dropped the "I want a 40th birthday party" on me. I'm a terrible party planner--event planner period--so as you can imagine, my anxiety shot through the roof. While scrolling through Twitter, I came across His and Hers, and was immediately drawn to the fact that restaurant had basement space for parties, not to mention that the food looked amazing. I quickly called the restaurant and was put in touch with Dana, the GM. Let me tell you: ya'll Dana was so patient and willing to work through all of my trivial questions.

She helped me decide the menu, the date--which JUST so happened to be karaoke night (::fire::), and put me in touch with someone to make the cake. On the night of the event, my wife and friends (I think we had 25-30 guests) were blown away! Dana and the His and Hers staff were so attentive; the food was AMAZING, and you could see the purse joy in my wife's eyes. Look, after one bite of my old bay wings, I said "lawd, hammercy..where is the cook?!" In all seriousness, this place is the spot for your next party or event. Friday nights are especially perfect. The DJ played everything from today's hits, to some classic 90's R&B (hello,Jodeci), and even an Al Green joint or two. We shall return for a date night.

p.s. I don't know whose grandma His and Hers had in the back making the sweet tea, but it...

I will not lie, this was a plan b situation. A girlfriend and I were out for brunch and our first option closed for an emergency, but we were hungry. A quick Yelp search led me to this fabulous restaurant. Parking was even easy early on a Sunday afternoon, which also happened to be a holiday weekend I was surprised.

We were immediately greeted upon entry and were offered to sit anywhere of our choosing. We chose a nice booth. Our waitress Jasmine immediately came to take our drink order, y'all know it was brunch so I had to order a mimosa and was pleasantly surprised to find out they offered cranberry, pineapple and orange as options. Jasmine was very upbeat and cheerful. I went on to order the catfish and grits and my homegirl had the crab hash. My only complaint is I would have preferred one larger piece of catfish as opposed to the two smaller pieces, but can I tell y'all this dish was seasoned to perfection I still to this day think about this dish. I can't wait to return and try other things on the menu. Did I mention the menu is reasonably priced? We ate ALL of our food, just pure deliciousness

When we were wrapping up we were informed of a downstairs space that is available for rent. We went to check it out and I will most certainly keep this venue in mind for future events. Do yourself a favor and drop in to sample this...

Here for a second experience… it’s hard to tolerate bad service. This will be the last… if your energy is not good, don’t come to work!! I’ll be reaching out to Paul after this experience. We organized a community event to bring community leaders together for happy hour and karaoke. When we arrived, we were told there was no karaoke or DJ on a Friday night. Ordered the old bay wings and french fries, and the french fries were the star of the show. Limited selection of libations, but our bartender did her thing. The three stars is actually for the bartender, Keisha. She accommodated us by putting music on her Bluetooth so we could at least enjoy the space for what we anticipated and didn’t receive. And even though it says they close at 11 PM we were rushed out before 8 PM and walked across the street to Prevost.

The place is cute. I love the interior design. Someone put a lot of thought and love into it. It makes the place seem cozy. When you pull-up the expectation is a little deceiving from the outside, but the inside is too cute. Parking is on a major street, so it may be a little iffy. The service was good. The drinks were cute and tasty and the food was very good. I had a Henny Sidecar, an order of lemon pepper wings (fried hard), and the crab stuffed salmon with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. My friend ordered the catfish fingers, which were also good. 👌🏾 They have Karaoke on certain nights, which happened to be when I visited, and that was so much fun. The DJ was great, and there were a lot of talented singers that participated. I will visit His & Hers again!

Been saying that I wanted to try this place out everytime I road by it.. Well today 7/8/23 was the day. 1st off, U have to pay to park be for even going in, 2nd, Walking in the atmosphere & decor was nice, service good. 3rd the food, everything was good except my eggs, I asked for my eggs to be fried hard (they just couldn't get them right) even tho the manager did fix the issue (Thx U), But the french toast, home fries, & chicken sausage, and oh Yesss let me not forget my strawberry lemonade mimosa was all on point. Not writing them off, I will try them again.
