Chuck Brown Memorial Park — Attraction in Washington

Great place to bring the family and kids, nice playground nice rec center across the street but on the same property. Wheelchair accessible throughout the Chuck Brown Park however getting to the swimming pool is not wheelchair accessible !! No WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY! You must go around two City blocks to get to the pool area. there is no pathway for wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, walkers or scooters that will take you directly to the swimming pool from the Chuck Brown memorial Park. Wheelchairs, power chairs or walkers, will have major problems. Chuck Brown Park and Langdon Park are too beautiful places to be. Wonderful environment for children, family outings and barbecuing :-) Ps. It's most unfortunate that the park service does not provide wheelchair accessibility for the handicap to the London Park pool. ...

One a the greatest times to go to this Park is August 20th Chuck Brown Day! Becoming over populated, but still Good! Lots of fabulous people and performances, food vendors, and on-site restrooms for the public. Pet friendly, Family friendly, big playground and moonbouce, blow ups and so much more! Bring your tent, bring your own grill setup have a blast! Peace...

Lovely place and this park has improved massively in last couple of years. I hope the cleanliness part is taken into consideration more seriously. Being surrounded by the dog park, tennis and basketball courts make it even sweeter. You can find some colourful trees as shown in my pictures. We enjoy hanging out...
