Worst service and worst food in Spokane. This was absolutely an unbelievably bad experience. I don't remember ever having such a bad customer experience or poorly cooked food in all of Spokane. The manager really had no clue what was going on with her store and it's clear that her employees weren't aware either. Regular goofs on orders is normal for McDonalds, right? We all know that, but this store never fails to mix up or screw up orders. The last straw was when I had ordered two McChickens... and they forgot the chicken - on both sandwiches. So what I got were four damp, soggy pieces of bread with chopped lettuce and an uneven smear of mayo. That's all. Okay, no big deal I guess? I take it back to the store and wait for ten minutes to even talk to anyone. When someone finally notices that I'm standing at the counter and asked if I've been helped, I asked if I was on camera and if I was being punked, and asked for two new McChickens with the chicken. The manager lost her mind and started shouting at the employees that “UNTIL WE GET ORDERS RIGHT NO MORE TAKING ORDERS! STOP TAKING ORDERS!" - so apparently this was just a thing that was happening regularly that day. While waiting +15 minutes to get the replacement sandwiches I saw one older lady come in, wait 5 minutes to be noticed by staff, and when one of the staff finally noticed her he told her that they aren't taking orders. She corrected the young man and said she had already ordered online. He asked for her confirmation code - she had to go back out to her car. All the while the manager continued to shout at employees, sending two home for not doing things right. The old lady came back in with her confirmation number, the same guy that helped her earlier told her “Uhhh, I'm locked out of the online thing. I can't check your online order. You can, uh, order again, if you'd like?” and the manager shouted at him: “NO MORE ORDERS”. The poor old lady muttered something under her breath and stormed off. This is a rather unreal level of failure of the local manager to control the situation and to train her staff. Read moreOne of the better McDonalds in the area. They have a clean facility, bathrooms are clean and tidy. The eating area is clean and tidy, and customer service is above average. The wait is better than other McDonalds in the area, but not compared to Market Street or Indian Trail. Indian Trail McDonalds is the best in the area in every area, and Market Street McDonalds is a not too distant second. I would rate this McDonalds as in the 3rd place. Not shabby, but timeliness of orders and quality of food could be improved. There seems to be more of a focus on the drive-thru than those in the lobby and 3rd Party delivery services are dead last (which is remarkable considering those orders come in typically ahead of time).
As I have said many times, if you have issues with staffing or experienced staff, you may want to cut your drive thru or 3rd Party ordering apps and just deal with lobby traffic until your staff experience rises to the level of being able to support more lines of effort (e.g. drive thru/UberEats/DoorDash/etc.)
Most owners probably aren't interested in doing this since that means profits take a hit, but I can tell you if your playing the long game, you're paying a tremendous price in efficacy by too much turn over, inexperienced staff, long waits in the drive-thru or 3rd party drivers who just won't take orders for your organization.
It's a tough business environment and customers are looking for much better customer service experiences, especially for the price of fast food in this economy!
Do whatever you want but you want to increase your reputation of customer service over the long term not diminish it.

Read moreI went here to get food at around 2:40 pm, I am a regular at McDonalds and I use your app all the time. Well this experience was so bad, i don’t know if I wanna go there if that’s how I’m going to be treated. So here’s what happen, I went there and ordered my food on the kiosk, well I had cash so I needed to go to the front counter to pay for my food. This all took about 3 minutes to do. Well I went to go pay for it at the counter and there and woman with a kid in front of me and the front counter dude his name was (Nova) helped the lady in front of me and once they finished and she figured out the situation she was having with her app, I thought okay it’s my turn to pay for my food and then wait for it, get it going! Well nova did not help me after he helped her, he actually completely blew me off and walked away! I waited and waited and waited and waited. Finally 15 mins went by, and I still had not been helped! By the time Nova came to help me, he had given the lady who was standing in front of me her food and helped her take it to her car, but yet I was still standing there. Not checked out just waiting, I told him to forget it and cancel my order when he finally wanted to help. I could’ve went thru the drive thru and got my food faster than the lobby and there lobby was empty. This is was the worst waist of time for me. And that employee (Nova) needs fired. He completely ignored me and then acted like it was my fault that he didn’t help and acted like it was my fault he didn’t get the paper, yet he ignored me, until the last moment.
